*BEN's POV*

I get it alright? I'm a dick... i shouldn't have beat her. But i was just... mad. This is the very reason why i wanted her to stay quiet.

What is?

We all have anger issues; bad ones... And everyone else's are far worse compared to mine.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope things get better.

It pains me that I did that to her... but I just need her to understand what's really going on here. This is real. We are real, the inflamed scar on her wrist is real... her tears are real. Yes, I know that she cried yesterday. I'm not a dumbass.

I never said anything about you in that way.

I would've gone to her, but I knew I wouldn't have a chance of talking to her. She hates me.

What's your favorite color?

I sighed and logged off of Cleverbot. I don't haunt it all the time... And it's a good way to get things off your chest. It just bugs me when it says stupid normal bot shit. I need someone real... But there's no one here that I can trust... Except her...

I let out a growl of frustration. I suddenly heard static in my ears, and my name being shouted inside my head.

"ygsuwrhfuiwbhefiuwhed BEN! udfhviouehrfvou"

"Uggghhh, WHAT?" I replied, angry.

"The infirmary." This was much clearer. "NOW."

I rolled my eyes and walked out of my bedroom. I walked down the steps and around multiple turns. Through the hallways, I didn't see anyone... Did they all go killing without me?... No. They always invite me. Maybe something happened... I finally came upon the hospital wing and opened the door.

"Yeah?"

"Explain." He said darkly as he pointed at a body laying on a small metal hospital bed.

"U-Uhh..." I stuttered, going over closer to her. I had di more damage than intended. She had a black eye, busted lip, and judging by the gauze arounf her abdomen, a broken rib.

"I.... I don't know..."

"Answer me, Ben."

"I-I just meant to scare her."

He growled and looked back at her. "You know the rules Ben. You must always finish the job..." He reached into a drawer and pulled out a syringe filled with clear liquid.

"W-What are you going to do?" I asked quietly.

"I'm going to finish the job. You can use humans for target practice all you want... In the Over Realm. But not here."

He headed towards her with the syringe, but i jumped infront of him.

"N-NO! I mean... I just want to keep her here for a bit... I won't do that anymore... Promise."

He hesitated, but sighed. "Either hurt her and finish it, or don't hurt her at all."

I nodded and picked her body up, heading up to my room. I layed her on the bed and watched her. She didn't seem like she would ever wake up, but I knew she would sooner or later... I just felt awful for doing this to her. I didn't mean to. I just...

I softly leaned down to her and kissed her forehead. I don't know why i did... I think that's what Mom always did when I was sick... I didn't remember her much, but I remembered the small things. Like how she would fix pancakes on Saturday morning. Or how she would buy me a new video game every birthday. She did all that for me, and I was grateful.

I pulled a blanket over Eliza and walked out of the room, closing the door behind me.
