Her Secret

Chapter 1 - Introducing

Rose POV

I'm not what you would call a usual teenage girl in high school. My name is Rose Valeron and I'm 18 years old. My family is somewhat different to other families. See my dad is a gangleader, more specifically Titus Valeron of the Venom Valerons which was one of the top gangs in America. I've been brought up within the gang and trained every day to be able to protect myself from dangers lurking in the world. My mum however isn't in the picture, she died giving birth to me. I try not to think about it too much.

Due to the competitive nature of gangs and who should be top, there should be no weakness to the gang leader. So I have been hidden from the world. I'm not known as the gang leader's daughter, I'm known as a normal innocent girl living a normal high school life. Don't get me wrong I can defend myself from most dangers but I don't have a 'badass and rude' kind of personality. I like to just keep to myself and try and stay positive. Dad says I'm too innocent for the world and I sort of understand, I'm no stranger to danger but I wouldn't want to hurt anyone intentionally. I miss my family a lot but I understand why they want me hidden. Who knows who would try to capture me, so I live alone. 

I know I have my friends at school but honestly it's hard being by myself. The only other person who I have to take care of me is my Ms.Isabella Knight. She's been so amazing in helping me cope with being alone. We try to meet up once a week for a morning coffee. Now I'm sure you're wondering how we met in the first place. Well when I was 15 I was moving into my house and I almost dropped all of my ceramic tableware if it weren't for her. She was just passing by and caught them for me. Since that day we've just been so close. I've never told her about who I am but I never felt the need to. My friends love her to bits and she looks after all of us really.

Well that's my alarm. I got up from my bed and went to the bathroom doing my business. I brushed my teeth before breakfast and decided to pick out my outfit for school.

Something simple yet comfy. I head down for some breakfast before leaving my house and finding Isabella waiting for me who always takes me to school.

"Hey sweetie! Come on let's take you to school" She said sweetly and I kindly nodded. She was a beautiful women. She has gorgeous hair and she's just everything I want to be when I grow older. She was so kind and every little thing that came out of her mouth was positive.
