It all started when he saw me. You could tell he was in shock. He just...stared. At me. He finally decided to introduce himself. He kept smilling at me. He had such an amazing smile. And personality. I had finally met that one person. That one person that looked at me, and saw everything he needed.
Our first date was amazing. I fell for him,instantly. What was there not to fall for? He was the sweetest kid ever. When he stared at you with those dark green eyes, you just melted inside. On our seven month anniversiry, he told me he was in love with me. I knew he loved me. It was very obvious. The way he looked at me and rapped his arms around me. But being 'in love' with me...was different. I loved him back,for sure. I was just... scared. I told him how I felt. He wasn't worried. He knew I loved him just as much as I knew he loved me.
It had been 17 months. 17 months that I had been with him. "Him" being the guy that tells you how beautiful you are the second you wake up.The guy that was always there whenever you needed him. He was...perfect. So, on our 17 month anniversiry, he purposed. As usual, he had caught me by surprise. Of course, I said yes. We were young, but that didnt stop us. We had a house together three months later.
And then it happened. He was there one second, and gone the next. He had got caught up in some things he shouldnt have been caught up in. He was a good person, don't get me wrong. But his only problem was, that he was always trying to fit in. A couple guys at work had offered him drugs. He accepted, of course. He didn't want to be left out. And they took advantage of that. He became addicted. I told him that he had a choice. Me or the drugs. His addiction was to bad. He had picked me. Of course, he had picked me. He loved me,more than anything.I was his wife of 7 years. Pregnant with his little girl. He tried. He tried,so hard. We both did. He went to rehab the second he found out about the baby. He became better, but his bad habbits had caught up with him.
