Alphas: The strongest of the second genders. Usually very dominanting and powerful. Has scent glands in their neck sorta like fish gills that are only visible when they release a scent (such as fear, dominate) or are in rut. Have a very strong nose used to scent other Alphas or occasionally Omegas. In rare cases, they will "mark" (Bite) an Omegas scent glands to show that they belong to the Alpha. Can use Alpha Commands to make others listen to them, very hard to disobey a Alpha Command unless you are also an Alpha.
Betas: Basically second in command, does not have scent glands, can only smell Alpha scents. Nearly as powerful as an Alpha. Can only mate with Alphas, do not have too.
Omegas:Weakest of them all, usually have large scent glands, can be marked by an Alpha. Can scent both other Omegas and Alphas (remember Betas don't have scent glands) Go through heat every 4 weeks. Treated like scum by majority of the population. Omegas can be pregnant even if the omega male. Male omegas are a rarity happens 1 in every 1,000 omegas. Not a ton of them out there as they get (sexually) assaulted often and killed by others.
What is a rut: Time when Alphas arw sexually aroused symptoms? Fevered looking eyes and occasionally intense sneezing as they are scenting for someone to mate. Rut's happen commonly around Omegas for various reasons.
What is heat: being in heat is something only Omegas have to deal with, they are kinda like a period because it happens about every month. Kinda like a rut, but when an Omega is in heat the release a sweet cinnamon scent meant to attract others.
