Class seemed to just, ache by. The minutes ticked by like hours. It was exhausting just being there. Looking at the clock expecting half an hour to have passed only for just five minutes to have gone by. It was painful.

Class had never felt so exhausting before... why now was it so awful? Focus was completely thrown out the window. Attempts to take notes just resulted in empty staring at the blank notebook paper. His pencil hardly even moved. For the entirety of the day, he almost felt like he was just... floating in a plain of existence. There physically, but not mentally.

"Sero?"
The voice drew the teen away from the blank paper he'd been staring at. He blinked and looked around. Everyone was chatting and grabbing their things. How long ago did the bell ring?
"Sorry, Kami. Guess I zoned out." Sero chuckled, reassuring his friend. Kaminari just smiled. "It's alright bro. Just get your stuff. We're gonna go get boba." He says, eyes shining brighter than the sun. Sero didn't understand how one person could be so bright.

Kaminari's smile was just... blinding. It wasn't exactly, enjoyable at the moment, but also wasn't something that Sero despised. It was just... a minor inconvenience. "Okay, I'll pack my stuff." He responds, closing his empty notebook and stuffing it into his incredibly unorganized bag. He zipped it, slinging it over his shoulder.

The others were waiting a bit impatiently by the door. Kaminari and Mina were practically bouncing on their heels. Bakugou was just on his phone casually with Kirishima talking to him, oblivious to the fact that he wasn't listening.

Sero sighed softly, before putting that smile back on and walking over. "Alright, lets go." He says softly, prompting Bakugou to put his phone away and lead the way out.

Iida watched the group leave. Something about the tallest teen not sitting well with him. He noticed how much Sero zoned out, which wasn't something he usually did. Being class president, Iida tried to make sure everyone was in focus and such, so they didn't fall behind.
Usually Sero wasn't one to worry about. Sure he wasn't the smartest, but at least he tried. Though, something was different today. The more he observed, the more he really realized that something wasn't right.

He planned to pull Sero aside after class, but he was gone before Iida could even make an attempt to speak to him. Part of him said to just leave it... but he couldn't. He was too worried. He'd have to find a way to talk to Sero.

Getting boba ended up turning into a trip around town that Sero wasn't looking for. He honestly didn't really want to go get boba, but, he couldn't say no and ruin his friend's excitement. He went along with it, displaying that smile that didn't quite glow like it usually would. Though, no one noticed. It was a good enough decoy.

Returning to the dorms, Sero excused himself to go to bed. Though, he likely wouldn't be doing that. He'd been having trouble sleeping lately. Sure he was exhausted but just being alone seemed to be enough to recharge. When did he grow so introverted?

Stepping into his room, Sero tossed down his bag. He didn't bother with his usual routine of turning on the orange lights, lighting a candle or two and turning on some lofi hip-hop. He just kinda, let himself fall into bed. He rolled onto his side, facing the wall. His dark eyes just, fixated on the wall. His vision flickered in and out of focus. Though he didn't even attempt to keep it in focus.

"Hey, guys, where's Sero?" Iida had approached the Bakusquad the second he saw them. Seeing Sero not with them just concerned him more. When was Sero willingly not with his friends?
"Oh, he went back to his dorm. Said he was tired." Mina responds with a shrug. "Do you need him for something?" Kaminari chimes in curiously. "Ah, not exactly. I just want to talk to him." Iida responds. Mina and Kaminari exchanged a look. "Not like that. I'm worried about him. Have none of you noticed his attitude is off?" Iida says quickly.
