A mystery gift

Summary: Virgil receives a mysterious gift from an unknown source. Who could it be?

Virgil POV:

The soft pillow cradled my head, as the loud music was playing through my headphones, I was trying to calm myself down from the days events. My headphone wire was barely hanging on, it was so close to snapping. I pulled my hood over my head, I really couldn't be bother to get into my pajamas, even though it was 11:30 pm. I was tired. Thomas had gone too a party today... So basically I was overworked ALL DAY!!

It was late, and i could hear the pattering of rain hit the window, and the howling of the cold winter wind blow through the trees. I loved winter, primarily because it is dark and i have an accuse of stay inside. I sat up and accidentally tugged on my headphones causing them to snap.
"Damn it, my headphones.." I whispered, before getting interrupted by the shuffling of footsteps outside the door. I got up in a hurry to try scare the culprits away from my room. I slowly turned the cold lock, ready to prounce. As I swung the door open I was shocked by the sight of darkness, and nobody to be found. I look down at the floor, and pull my bangs back so I can see what i am looking at.

A present? For me?

I lift the box up. It was a small box wrapped in delicate black paper, topped with a purple bow. I teared the gift open to see a little plastic box containing new headphones sat on my lap. I let out a small smile, and decided to call it a night.

The next morning.

The morning sun shone through the thin window at 8 am. I could hear Patton chatting away to Logan about different types of toast spreads. Patton loves breakfast. I bit too much in my opinion.

I walk out my room too the sight of Patton, sat in his cat onesie smiling widely in my direction. Roman sat in his 'beauty and the beast' onesie, and Logan sat all ready for the day while examining the Crofters jam.
"Morning kiddo!" Patton shouted cheerfully.
Logan was too busy scoffing down his toast, coated with a thick layer of jam, to see me.

I plugged my new pair of headphones in, while sat on the kitchen counter,when Logan interrupts my music with a big smirk by saying,
"The sofa is 3 footsteps away."
 
Patton glances over my way.
"Nice new headphones kiddo!" He exclaimed. The minute Patton said that everyone looked my way. I could feel the heat rise too my face.

Im going to blush. Don't blush. They cant see you like that.

"Is that a blush I see?" Roman announced in a dramatic tone.
