Chapter 5

Okay now onto the Chapter!

Its been 3 weeks since the announcement about the program was made. We only have one week left to prepare. Steven, Emma, James and I are here at JK's house to help him with his costume. He's been practicing without Danielle. He said he might die early if he get stucked with her for a few weeks.

"Do you think what you and Danielle practiced will match on the program?" Emma said breaking the silence between all of us.

"Eh, I think so. Steven choreographed it. I'm pretty sure it'll match." Jk answered still had his attention on his spear-like radish torch whatever you call that.

"How about you two practice together starting next week. The program is on Friday. We have to be sure that your performance will be great. That way, we will be sure enough that your steps will match together." I suggested.

"She has a point. Steven might choreographed it but somehow we're not sure if your timings are the same." James finally spoke up.

"Fine. I don't even have a choice." he said while rolling his eyes to the left. "You guys wanna eat? I'm hungry."

"Again!!!!" We said in unison. He just shrugged. Then we all laughed.

It's program day. We are all nervous.  Mr. and Ms. Nutrition is going to start at 9am. So we're here at our classroom to get JK and Danielle ready. The other girls are doing Danielle's hair and make up. While me and Emma are helping the boys with Jk's costume and some body make up.

"Jk, are you alright? You're shaking." I asked him.

He just nodded.

He is sweating and shaking. It's obvious that he is really nervous.

To comfort him, I made circles in his back with my hand and keep saying that he's going to do good.

"All students please proceed to the stadium. The program is about to start in 5 minutes. The representatives of Mr. and Ms. Nutrition will be guided by their class advisers to their respective dressing rooms. Only two students can come per section. " I heard the large speaker said.

James and I are the ones who came with them.

At the dressing room, I saw Jk sweating again. Its ruining his body make up.

"Jk you should relax. You're sweating so hard. Don't worry. I'm very sure that you'll do good. Come here. I'm going to redo your make up." I started adding details to his body make up.

He's just wearing a sleeveless tee and jeans. And the rest is his costume. You can tell that he's very hot with what he wears.

Err. What the hell??? Why am I saying this?!! Ahhh.

"Andge? Y'eh okay? You got lost there." I noticed that I am staring at nowhere and holding the brush up high Dang it. I look stupid.

"Uh. Nothing. I - uh.. Hehe." I said while scratching the back of my neck.

He bursted out laughing. " You should've seen your face. Your face was like this." he did a very stupid face.  

"Hey. I don't look like that. You're just exaggerated. Hmmp." I said crossing my arms. We both laughed.

"Students. The program is going to start. Jk and Danielle they'll call you one  by one. The girls are going to be called first. James and Angela you can go now. Thank you for the help." Ms. Morgan said.

"Okay Ms. Morgan. Bye guys. Goodluck!" I said waving my hands at them while smiling.

James and I went to our seat next to our classmates.

"Good Morning students of San Narciso School! Are you guys excited?" Everyone went screaming 'Yes'. "Well you don't have to wait longer. May we call on the contestants for Ms. Nutrition!" The Emcee went to the side of the stage and we saw the representatives appear one by one.

Our section kept on cheering for Danielle. But James, Emma, Steven and I kept quiet reserving our energy for Jk.

"Woah oh. Such beautiful ladies. I bet all of you wants to see our contestants for Mr. Nutrition. Okay now bring the boys out!" The stadium was filled with screams cheering different representatives.

But the crowd got wilder when Jk went up the stage.

"GO JK!" "OMG HE'S SO HOT!" "I LOVE YOU JK!" those are just some of the screams I heard from the crowd.

"Wow! I think everyone already have their bet. Haha. So let's begin." Then the contest went on.

It's time for the talent portion. We kinda changed their performance. Jk is gonna sing and Danielle is going to interpret it.

And they did great. Jk sings so good. Nakaka In Love yung boses niya.

The girls went screaming for him again after their performance.

The next portion is the Q & A. Not that I'm being judgemental but I'm pretty sure Danielle's gonna do bad.

It's Danielle's turned and just as I expected. She sucked.

Oh my. It's the boys now. And it's Jk's turn.

"Jk. As we all know, you sing great. What brings you to sing?" Mr. Smith asked him.

Jk stayed silent for awhile. Then he started talking.

"I basically started performing for my Mom. I learned that by being entertaining, you make another connection with another person. What drives you to perform is the need for primal connection." Everyone in the stadium were silent after what he said.

After a few more seconds, everybody clapped and most gave him a standing ovation. Even the judges.

His answer might be simple but he just really blew it off. He's so amazing.

It's the announcement of winners.

"And for the Mr. Nutrition. Congratulations to...." The stadium was quiet "Juan Karlos Labajo! Congratulations."

The stadium was filled with screams.

Our class went near the stage. When Jk went down, I quickly wrapped him into a tight hug. I'm so happy for him.

"Congratulations! I told you you're gonna do great."

"Thank you. Without you, I wouldn't have won. You inspired me." He said as he hugged me back.

"Yiiieeehhh. You two look good together. Go for KarGela!!!" Our classmates teased us.

What's with the ship name?!

"Shut up!" Jk and I said in unison.
