I Will Find You

Ch. 4

At some point in his rant, had stood up and started pacing around my room. I sighed and said, "I think you'll have sit down for this."

Slowly, he sat down in my desk chair, ready to listen. "My name is Rose Tyler, and-" "You're Pete Tyler's daughter?" I groaned and said "Yes, now listen up. So, you've probably heard of the cybermen..."

He looked at me with a weird look on his face. "Cybermen?" I sighed, how could they forgotten about that? Or maybe....oh, probably not.

"Well, a few years ago, (a/d I don't know if this is right or not, It seems as if my sense of time is messed up) there were these, creatures. They turned you into one of them, removed part of yourself and put it in a metal body." I said, remembering the innocent people's screaming.

"That's awful!" Luke exclaimed. I could see the horror on his face.

"And, if you weren't compatible or struggled to much, you'd just be," I trailed off. "You'd be what?" Luke asked. "Deleted. They would delete you."

Luke looked down, and his longish brown hair flopped down on his face. His hair looked pretty good, and I will admit he looked a bit handsome. But he wasn't my doctor. "I don't want to know about the cybermen anymore." He said quietly. He looked back up at me. "But how the hell would we forget that!?" He asked a little louder now.

"I don't know, but I know someone who might. Unfortunately, he's in a universe parallel to ours, and-"

"Wait, did you say parallel universe?" He asked. "Yes, now I'm tired of your interrupting. I would've explained if you'd let me finish. You see, I used to travel with this man. The most amazing man you would ever meet. He was a timelord, the last of his kind. His name was the Doctor. He's done amazing things, seen some horrible times, and has traveled with many people. I am not the first, nor the last, but I love him. I love him with all my heart, and I would do almost anything to get back to him. To travel through time and space, and watch him save world after world." I finished, thinking about am everything we've done together.

I looked at Luke saw his stunned face, and smiled a little. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow, same time, right here. Let yourself in." I said, handing him a key and a piece of scrap paper with my number written on it.

"Call me if you see anything strange. Now of you go" I said, shooing him out the door. He walked out a little dazed. I heard the front door close, and I flopped down on my bed. Maybe I don't need the Doctor to fight aliens, but it would be a lot more fun with him.
