The Long Road Ahead

Perfect Strangers

Rose POV.

The smell of sweets hit my nose as I walk into the baker with my best friend Samantha. I call her Sam.

"I don't know what to get." She stared at me with a confused look on her face. I rolled my eyes at her and let out a soft laugh.

"Don't worry I got you." I say as I let out a wink. She shakes her head at me.

"Hi, welcome to Sweet Bake's. What can I get you?" The teen girl said with a fake smile.

"Yes, I would like to get two sugar cookies please." I reached in my pocket and felt around for the 10 dollar bill.

"7.69 is your total. Name please?" I finally felt the thick paper in my pocket and handed to her and told her Rose. Yes like the flower.

"2.31 is your change. Have a nice day." I muttered a you too and Sam was already walking to a table. As we waited to hear my name we hear the little bell ring and the door open. A short man with short brown hair and a middle part walks into the bakery. He's short but boy is he gorgeous. I look over at Sam to see if shes looking but when I turn around I see her staring straight at him with hearts in her eyes. I slapped her and she jumped.

"What's the name for your order?"

"Gabriel." Gabriel.. sounds almost angelic.

"Rose." One of the men behind the counter yelled. Before I could even stand up Sam is already half way to the counter. She grabs the cookies and turns to Gabriel. He winks at her and waves at me. My heart skips a beat and Sam starts to giggles. We step into the summer heat and I sigh.

"Can we pleaaaassssseeeeeee go to the park?" Sam looked at me with puppy dog eyes.

"I don't know why you are looking at me. You are the one that's driving aren't you?" She looks at me bitterly. I climbed into her BMW.

  After about a 7 minute drive we arrive at a red and black park. They finds a parking pot and we jump out. She locks her door and runs to the swings. The park was almost empty. All I see is two men around our age and a 4-5 year old boy I think the two men are lovers. They are both gorgeous but the guy that catches my eye is the guy with the forest green eyes. He has a rough face. The other guy has ocean blue eyes. Why do all the hot men have to gay. My thoughts are interrupted by the little boy running to me.

"Do you want to play with me?" The guy with forest green eyes runs over to me and gives me a soft smile.

"I'm sorry about him." He chuckles. I just stare at him. Sam smacks me in the arm.

"Uhh.. oh it's no problem." I'm shaking. Hes gorgeous.

"This is Rose and my name is Samantha. Sam for short." The little boy grabs the side of the guys pants.

"Daddy, she has the same name that I do!" He nodded.

"I'm Dean and this is my son Sammy."

"Are you to together?" Sam motions to the other guy.

"Oh no that is my best friend Castiel."

"Okay good." She popped up out of here swing and strutted over to Castiel to introduce herself."

"I'm sorry about her. She doesn't have a shy bone in her body." I sighed.

"It's not a problem." Sammy comes over to where I am and sits on the swing next to me.

"You are vewy pweety." Sammy smiled.

"Well thank you."

"He's not wrong... you are very pretty." My face heats up.

"Thank you." I say shyly. I see Sam march over with an expression on her face.

"We have to go...NOW!" She stated.
