Prologue

*Louis' P.O.V*

I really don't understand life. Why bad things happen to good people, why drunk people have to drive and hit people, leaving a lot of kids without parents.

I've been here for a few weeks. And by here, I mean an orphanage. My mom and dad ( Which is my step dad, but my real dad was an ass and left me and my mom alone when I was 2 for some rich chick with a beach house in Guam.) were killed by a underage drinker on their way back from a Christmas party. Happy Holidays to my family eh? Doesn't matter though. Well. Okay it does matter. I was left alone by myself. No one to go to. The police were called, and I went to the orphanage, until my step brother came home.

See, I guess my step brother is kind of a big deal. He's the hunk known as Liam Payne of One Direction. I'm lucky right? Wrong. I only seen him about 4 times in the past 5 years. And I met him 5 years ago, which means I am going to live with someone who I've only seen 4 times. I was looking forward to it, but at the same time I wasn't. Maybe I was just, scared? I guess you could say that. I was not ready to be with 5 guys. Liam and I will be living by ourselves, but the other guys will come around I'm sure.
