Chapter 1: Bloodline First Case

My name is Yuki Ito, I'm 30 years old. Since I was born my parents knew I was special. Our ancestors come from a long lineage of Shinto Priests and Priestess. My mother Yukiko Ito raised Catholic taught me everything she knew about demons and spirits, about God and how to pray to cast spirits away. My father Takeshi Ito born and raised in a Shinto/Buddhist family taught me every single spell he knew about and how to respectfully deliver spirits to the afterlife. I myself? I was born with the ability to see ghosts, spirits and demons or whatever you may call them I guess. As a Kid I got bullied a lot because i will spend most of my time sitting and talking with the other lonely kids i met at school. Later i found out all of the kids i used to talk with, were death long ago. Reason to get bullied even more as the other kids will make fun of me and ask me to go play with my imaginary friends which weren't imaginary actually.

Senna: Yuki ! (Calls desperately )
Yuki: Yeah?
Senna: I had been worried a lot about you. Your mother called me and told me you haven't ate anything for the past two days...
Yuki: Oh ! Haha (laughs in a nervous way)what are you talking about?
Senna: C'mon Yuki don't lie to me, your terrible at it...

This is Senna, she is my college best friend and also my coworker, she will always be kinda scary. You don't want to get into her bad side. Our parents know each other so she treats me like a brother.

Yuki: I had been working a lot Senna, is natural that sometimes I will worry too much and forget to eat...
(Yuki Gets hit)
Yuki: Ouch!! Why would you do that???!!! (Yelled angry)
Senna: (Sarcastically smiling) Don't lie and you'll be fine...
Yuki: (Sighs) whatever...
*Phone Rings*
(Yuki picks up)
Yuki: Detective Ito speaking how may i help you?
Yamada: We got a case, send your team down here...
Yuki: Yes sir!
Senna: What happened?
Yuki: Get ready...

As Yuki and Senna head out to the Crime Scene Yuki's father called, he wanted to meet with Yuki after work...
Dad: Oe Yuki, I need you to come to the temple as soon as you are done with work.
Yuki: Is that to do offerings again? (Asked unpleased)
Dad: No No, I need to talk to you about your mother. She has been recently acting really weird.
Yuki: Dad I don't have time, I am in the middle of a case...
(Yuki hangs up)
Senna: Do you know that is disrespectful? You shouldn't hang up on your father like that.
Yuki: Relax, he gets over it...
Yuki: Also I need to focus on working.

Yuki and Senna arrived to the scene, there was a small building and yellow tapes were everywhere..

Yuki: What is the situation Yamada?
Yamada: The Building Security Officer found a young girl dead on her room. 23 years old Amanda was found laying on the floor as if she was sleeping. Apparently the cameras didn't catch anything but the Officer hear a strange sound coming from her apartment. When he knocked on the door for almost 20 minutes and didn't received an answer he broke down the door and found her dead laying on the floor.
Senna: Any suspects sir?
Yamada: Well besides our security officer I don't have any other information now.
Yuki: And what about the girl? Any signs of being physically attacked?
Forensic Officer: No is actually quite strange, there were no signs of anyone breaking into her room. And her body doesn't seem to be physically attacked, looks natural to me but I cannot reveal anything now until the Autopsy report comes out.
Yuki: Hmm, I see... Can we ask our Security Officer some questions?
Yamada: Go ahead...

As Yuki approaches the security officer to gather information Senna will go inside the Crime Scene to check with the other cops. Yamada goes with Yuki to support him with any questions missing...

Yamada: Hi mister... ?
Security Officer: Abe, you can call me Abe sir.
Yamada: Okay mister Abe, my friend in here is Detective Yuki he just want to ask you some questions.
Abe: Sure, look I don't know anything besides what i already had told you. I am new into this company, I am just the security officer. I know i may be seem as a suspect, and i broke the protocol by breaking in into her apartment but i swear i have nothing to do with it. I am just a simple person trying to do my job.
Yuki: How long had you been working here?
Abe: I just started yesterday sir.
Yuki: Ha really new i guess ( said sarcastically). What exactly did you hear before you decide to break the door down?
Abe: Well I was surfing around checking that everything around the building was in order and I suddenly hear a woman screaming but like when she is being choked and tries to scream. So I went down to where the sound was coming from and I figured out it came from that room. So I knocked on the door and called for almost 20 minutes, then I heard she whispered "please don't do it, I beg you" then I tried to call one more time. I didn't get any response so I broke the door down and when I entered i saw her laying down as if she was sleeping. I checked on her and I figure out she wasn't breathing. I immediately called the Ambulance and the cops.
Yamada: Who reported that the camera's didn't catch anything?
Abe: My superior, he immediately checked the cameras as I contacted him to let him know about the incident.
Yuki: And where is he now?
Abe: He is inside with your team helping them go through everything, why sir?
Yuki: I see, okay were done here.
Yamada: Mister Abe, this is my contact card. If you see anything or remember anything please let us know.
Abe: Absolutely sir, thank you! Am I allowed to leave now?
Yamada: Yes
Yuki: For now.

(Senna approaches)
Senna: Yuki you might want to see this... In this building there had been a total of 48 deaths...
Yuki: 48? How come we never heard of this?
Yamada: Most of those deaths were natural causes so after seeing that all of the persons who died were taking a prescription or had a medical history of medical illnesses, they didn't notified us and proceeded to cremate the bodies and arrange the funeral services.
Yuki: Doesn't it seem weird that there are 48 registered deaths in here? And all were analyzed and were found as natural deaths...
Yamada: it can be a coincidence, after all mostly old people rent here.
Yuki: Yeah but she is way too young to have a medical condition that can kill her like that...
Senna: From the looks of it she was a nurse practitioner and didn't had any medical condition or medical history that indicates the opposite. She was young and healthy.
Yamada: We received info that she didn't had any friends or anyone that wanted to hurt her either. She was really quiet and her daily routine was mostly working, yoga and home.
Yuki: This cannot be simply a coincidence...
Yamada: Well sometimes we have to accept the reality.
Yuki: at what time did she passed?
Senna: based on the forensic officer around 0300 this morning.

(Suddenly everything got super cold, but not a regular cold.)

Yamada/Senna: I have goosebumps....

IS NOT TRUE, WHATEVER THEY SAY THEY ARE LYING... THEY ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO ME, THEY TRY TO HIDE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(A screaming voice that only Yuki could hear)

Yuki: So everyone knows? But they hide it?
Yamada: Yuki what are you talking about?
Senna: Omg!!
(Senna knew what was going on but she couldn't mention about it)

Yuki: (So shocked for what he saw) is... that... what... really... happened... ?
