JACKSON'S POV;

Sitting in my office after Allison left, I was deep in thought. She wanted me to make a choice by tonight and I already knew who I was choosing. But that wasn't the problem. The problem was how was I going to break the news to my father. I didn't give a dame about Ashley, I never had. I know that sounds bad but it's the truth. Allison is my mate, the women I was destined to be with and I wasn't going to sacrifice our future together for anyone. Not even my father.

Leaving my office, it was late, probably near midnight. I made my way towards my parents room, determined not to leave until I convinced my father to let me be with Allison. As I raised my hand to knock on the door, I overheard my parents talking.

"I'm positive that's her. The moment I saw her I knew it but I can't be sure. She looks just like her" I heard my father's voice. He was speaking lowly, probably conscious of others in the house.

"Jace, what are we going to do? We can't tell Jackson at least not until we're sure" my mother sounded worried which made me anxious. What the hell was so important that they couldn't tell me?

"I don't know, but I do know we have to keep her safe. If Jeremy finds out where she is, he will send an army to kill her" my father responded, his voice shaking. Who the hell was Jeremy? I listened closely, my ear almost touching the door as I tried to find out who exactly they were talking about. Accidentally taking a step forward, my foot landed in an unsteady floorboard, allowing a loud creek sound to echo the hallway. Taking a step back quickly, I panicked. I knew my parents heard it and would be cautious of someone at the door.

I acted quickly, opening the door and entering the room fast to take suspicion off myself. I cleared my throat as I saw my father and mother stopping their previous conversation and look at me.

"Father, there is something I need to discuss with you. It can't wait" I sounded confident as I used my Alpha tone which I knew had no effect in him as he was once an Alpha.

"Sure son, what's the matter" my father spoke up as both my parents turned their bodies to face me. Taking a deep breath, I knew I had to do this or else I was going to loose my mate.

"I am officially calling off this wedding. I love Allison and I want to be with her and only her. If that's means giving up my position as Alpha then so be it" I spoke as I looked my father straight in the eyes, waiting for him to lash out any moment. But to my surprise he didn't.

"Ok son, that's fine. I'll all Alpha Tony in the morning and let him know the plans have changed. I'll get someone to drop Ashley back to her pack in the morning" my father spoke as if it was nothing, as if it was what he wanted.
I was confused. After months of trying to convince him to allow me to do this, he suddenly gave in now and without a reason. Something was going on, but right now I wasn't going to question it. Right now I was going to Allison and tell her I finally made things right.

"Thank you father but why?" I had to ask even though I knew I wasn't getting an honest answer.

"Let's just say I have taking a liking to your little mate. She seems like a women who would be the perfect Luna" he answered with a smile on his face.

"Thank you father" I squaeled like a girl as I ran and hugged my father. He wouldn't never understand that this meant to me. I could finally be with the women I love without anyone getting in the way. I had it tell Allison before she left me and this time for good.

Running out of my parents room,  I made my way towards my room where Allison was. I had to see her, to hold her. I couldn't let her leave me, I would die without her. Without even knocking first, I entered the room only to see Kiera, Sophia and Allison laying in the bed with popcorn and soda talking and giggling with each other. The sound of her giggles warmth my heart as my wolf started purring with delight.
