Multiple cars sped through the rough, uneven forest terrain, swerving at dangerous angles and scattering dust around, made visible by the bright full moonlight. Sounds of revving engines and exhaust pipes filled the peaceful forest as animals dashed into their hiding places to avoid being roadkill or something worse. There was no slowing down but full speed ahead as there was a deadline and they had to meet up with it or things could get out of hand. As the dangerous curves along the narrow road diminished in number, the cars came to a halt in a large clearing with very short grasses, forming a large circle while five cars pulled into the middle of the circle. Angela and her cousins got out as most of the men in the cars got out too. They all stood beside their assigned cars waiting for orders while Angela and Marco called their cousins in a small circle. They had gotten to the outskirts of Port Orford to the north but a very good distance from the two vampire camps they were set to hit. From there, each group could easily find their way to their respective targets.
"We split up here. Everyone take your men and head out. Attack immediately." Angela's voice could be heard clearly by all. They nodded at her.
Luca, Marco, Jake, Astore and Anita got back into their car and drove off in another direction alone. Umberto walked back to his car as a huge vampire stood holding the back door open for him. He got in and the car pulled away in another direction followed by a dozen other cars. Rachelle, Achille and Nevia got into separate cars and pulled away, each followed by a dozen cars. Angela and Aimone stood watching the cars speed off.
"This is gonna be fun." Aimone stretched her hands and rubbed her neck.
Angela scoffed as she turned to her. "Wanna make this more interesting?" She smirked.
"What do you have in mind?" Aimone replied smiling.
"A bet."
"A bet?"
"Yep. Whoever kills the most vampires gets anything from the loser."
"Ang, sure you wanna bet against me? I'm really pumped right now."
"Then this won't be a problem then."
"Okay. You're on." Aimone stretched her hand out and Angela shook it. "But we'll be fighting in different camps."
"The men closest to us will keep count."
"You hear that boys?" Aimone shouted looking at the men that surrounded them, about a hundred in total.
"Yes, my lady." They chorused back.
"No cheating." She looked pointedly at the men who stood at Angela's side earning a round of chuckles.
"Goodluck. You will definitely need it." Angela waved at her as she made her way back to her car.
"You too." Aimone shouted back smiling.
Angela turned and winked at her before getting in and her car pulled away followed by another set of cars.🐾
Angela got out of her car and walked to the front as she looked forward. With her acute vision she could see the large estate in the distance, in the middle of nowhere, with a good number of vampires walking around conversing lightly. This was the camp she had to take care of, leaving no prisoners except if someone had something important to say, then get the information and end their life swiftly. One of her men was in front of her in a flash on his knee.
"A report, my lady."
"Speak." Her voice was cold and bone chilling.
"The intel wasn't according to detail, there are about 400 hundred vampires and not 300."
Angela smiled her signature bone chilling smile on hearing the new information.
"This just got more interesting. Anything else?"
"There are five sentries posted around the estate, they can easily spot us if we make a direct move on the estate."
"Give me their locations and leave them to me. I will give you a signal when I'm through with them. Once I give the signal, attack."
"Yes my lady."
"Can we come with you, my lady?" A voice said from behind Angela. She turned to face five pair of blood red eyes starring at her waiting for her next command. Among the thousands of men under her command, she had a special team of five who were the deadliest and strongest among her men. They were fiercely loyal, they would rip their own hearts out of their chest if Angela commanded them. They were the first set of vampires she had turned over five hundred years ago and followed her everywhere. All her cousins that commanded men had their own special squads but everyone knew hers were the deadliest. They consisted of three guys and two girls. One of them girls had a smaller form than the rest but was also the strongest among the five. She was the one who had spoken to Angela, her long black hair tied in a ponytail as she awaited her mistress's next order which she would carry out no questions asked.
