Its raining heavily, out of boredom for staying in her room all day, she scanned the books filed in her shelf to find something to occupy her time.

One book got her attention, a gift from an old friend, entitled "Goodbye Friend! Hello Friend!" , written by Cori Doerrfeld.

Her hands automatically flip it, to the last page.

She smiled bitterly.

She had memorized the story for reading it millions of times.

But she can't help herself from fuming with those lines scribbled at the end of the page.

"Always remember, that every goodbye, leads to a hello. :)

We maybe apart by distance but not in heart.

Friends Forever. I will miss you my K1.

-Your K2 🖤"

She close the book and throw it aside.

She sits on her swivel chair and close her eyes.

Things had changed. Promises had been broken a lot of times. She learns not to depend too much to people around her.

She is what she is today because she trust the right few people that let her surf life on her way.

Her trail of thoughts ended when she heard her phone rings. Her brows furrowed on the unregistered number appeared on the screen. But she answered it, thinking it might be important.

"Hello? Kim speaking, May I know whose on the line?"

"..."

"Hello?"

"..."

That frustrates her. No one is speaking on the other line. She is about to end the call when she heard someone laugh and speak a language she can't even understand. Then, the line goes beeping.

"What the? Is that a prank call?" She said to herself in a frustrated tone. Still staring on the number who called. She is frustrated but the voice seems familiar.

But another unregistered number calling right in front of her eyes. That surge her anger up and answer it.

"For petes sake! If you people are trying to prank me up! It's not funny!Go find someone that can tolerate your childish acts." She burst out, then heard a man chuckled.

"Whoah! Easy babe." He says.

Flustered by the voice she hears.

"Oh my God! Sebastian!". She exclaimed. Another chuckling sound from the other line.

"Miss me babe?"

"Of course not! that won't ever happen!" She countered but tears started to well up on her eyes and she is weeping silently.

A silence between them.

"Hush baby, don't cry."

"You monster! I'm not crying! Where are you?" He just laughed, he knows well that she is crying even she pretends not.

"Hotel. Wanna treat me for dinner." More of a statement than question.

Then she chuckle with teary eyes.
Still the old Sebastian. She wipe her tears away. "Ok. message me your hotel. Let's meet up at 7."

"Copy ma'am. I'll treat you kwek-kwek in exchange for dinner."

She smiled, she miss this man so much. "Well, its a good trade. See yah"

"Drive safely baby, ok?" That give a pinch to her heart but she dismiss it.

"Yes sir. I will." She thought, the man ended the call. To her surprise.

"Love you Kimberly." She smiled.

"Love you Sebby."
