Meeting You

"Daddy, Daddy, Daddy." A small whiny voice fills the room. I gently open my eyes to see my beautiful baby girl, who was laying on top of me as her little hands were wrap around my hand.

"Daddy, come get up, your late." With her two small hands, she tries to pull me up. She sticks out her tongue a cute habit of hers when she's struggling. With my other free hand, I quickly wrap it around her small body and push her against me.

"No!! Let's sleep."

"Daddy!" I begin to tickle her and her cute little laughs begin to fill the emptiness of this whole room.

"L-let g-go." She tried to push herself away, but my cute little girl was still a small baby.

"Okay, but only if I get a big kiss on the cheek from my favorite girl." I let my arm loose a little. She sat up her and lean down to give a big kiss.

"There! Now come on, you're going to be late for work." She gets off of me and I decided it was time to get up.

"Okay, Daddy is going to take a shower why don't you go and get your stuff ready, Uncle Joonie would come and get you, okay?" She gave me a nod and ran out of my room.

I grab a towel and headed to the bathroom. Today was going to be another long day at work. It's sad that I cant spend time with my daughter, but it's been three years and being a single dad doesn't come easy.

The first year I struggle I don't even think I was going to make it if I didn't have my Hyungs with me. Seoyeon was the best thing that happened in my life I just never had thought I would end up raising her by myself.

After taking a quick shower and getting dressed I was making breakfast. Thankfully my mom taught me how to cook because if she didn't I would have never survive and surely my little angel wouldn't either.

"Daddy, look!!" I turn away from the stove and look at Seonyeon who was now holding a book about animals. At age two she was able to read and a year later she talks perfectly like a six-year-old. She surprises me a lot and I am happy that she will have a bright future with that brain of hers.

"Where did you get that?" I asked her as I grab her small body and sat her on the counter.

"Uncle Joonie gave it to me, Daddy can I have a pet snake? They are so cool!!" She seems so excited, her cute big eyes getting bigger and she looks at me.

"Maybe in the future." I never had the heart to tell her no, she gave me a cute pout, but smile afterward.

"Okay." She gave me one last smile before opening her book again. I turn around to flip the pancakes before they burn.

This was not happening, out of the days to get back luck today had to be the one. Life really wants to make my first day a living hell already. I looked at my phone one last time reading the same message over and over again not wanting to believe my eyes.

"Fucking hell!!' I cussed putting my phone back into my pocket.

"My daddy told me that cussing is bad." I almost jump out of my skin that voice took me by surprise.

I looked around to see if anyone was here, into I felt a light tuck. I looked down to meet with an adorable looking face. Her big brown eyes were looking at me and her cute little nose only matches her cuteness.

"Sorry, just my day has not been going so great." I squad down to meet this adorable looking kid.

"It's okay, my daddy always sang to me when I don't have a good day. Do you want me to sing to you?" She gave me such a cute smile that show her adorable teeth.
