"Who was that??"

"I don't know." Toothless murmured softly and glanced back to where the strange hiss came from, but nothing was there apart from the eerie darkness. "..But he said something...I don't know what it was but it wasn't our language."

"Huh.." Colt looked back and the eyes had disappeared into the darkness of the tunnel and shuddered with uneasiness. "Wasn't that quite the adventure??"

"Wasn't it just?" Toothless chuckled playfully as the drifted down the shallow river towards some light at the end of the tunnel, hope surging through him once more. "There's home. We are not too far now."

As the two calmly drifted down the river a few whispers echoed throughout the tunnel making Colt whimper softly and hide in his neck. Toothless growled faintly and narrowed his emerald eyes at the whispers and hisses, though he could not make any of them out. They got louder and louder the closer they got to the exit of the tunnel, and all of the whispers and murmured suddenly stopped.

"...What was that about?" Colt whispered into his neck when they had finally stopped, lifting his head and looking up and around them. There were no signs of life in the tunnel apart from the alpha and himself, as if they were just imaginary spirits hissing from above.

"I don't know...but it was strange, and we're safe now." They came out the other end of the tunnel back to where they had come from, standing up and walking to the bank of the water "Well, now you know where the water comes from in the most...exciting way possible." He chuckled to the young cub and gave his head a playful ruffle.

"Heh. Thanks Toothless." Colt purred and nuzzled his leg with a flick of his tail. "I'll see ya tomorrow!" And with that the young cub bounced off and up the slope, disappearing over the hill.

Toothless stood there for a long while watching Colt bounce off and up the slope towards his home where his mother Dayflight stood along with his siblings, giving her son's head a soft lick and retreating back into their new den. Toothless took a path down to the centre of the Hidden World where the sunlight bathed the floor in all it's warmth and felt fuzzy under his paws. A few dragons laid bathing themselves in the sunlight and basking in the golden rays that sprayed down onto their bodies, eyes shut while cubs ran around the sandy plains and wrestled near the water while a few played in the soft rushing rivers. Toothless felt his heart glow knowing everybody was enjoying themselves at their new home, smiling to himself proudly as he continued to observe, I made the right decision coming here with Luna, He thought to himself and took his place on top of a small peak that overlooked the others so he got a better view of everybody. The Hidden World was now warm with the sun spilling through the tops of the crystals and the joyous laughter of the cubs and the murmuring parents.

"Hey there mister." Luna's voice was so soft and gentle, motherly like as she leapt up next to Toothless. "Where did you disappear to eh?" She chuckled softly and laid next to her mate and coiled their tails.

"Afternoon m'lady." Toothless purred back to her softly and shuffled against her side, resting his head down atop her little paws "..Well, it was an exciting journey, let me tell you." Toothless chuckled softly and started to explain what happened with him and Colt, starting from when they decided to go on their 'harmless' journey to find where the water came from and how bizarre it all was.

"My my, you two had a very...exciting time? Did you take Colt home safely?" Luna looked to him with her pearly blue eyes locking with his emerald orbs.

"Of course I did. I made sure Dayflight caught him before I turned to lay here, it's so warm down here" Toothless sprawled out on the peak they laid on and felt the heat burning his scales, enjoying it.
