The next day, my mom asked me if I will be still going to school. Yes. It has been a long time since I hadn’t been talking to my friends and teachers. Honestly, I missed them already, so I told her that I will. She seemed surprised of my decision and reaction, thinking that I had moved on. But I know deep inside me, my doubts are still bothering me.
When I arrived at school, some of my classmates gave me a cold stare that may somewhat say like, ‘Great! You’re back! How was it?’ but I didn’t put it that way. I’ve got to be optimistic. I went to my seat while everybody’s eyes were on mine. It feels really awkward. I was about to say something like, “What?” when Shaun Hulard and Fritz Creevey freaked out.
“OMG! You’re back at school!”
“Well, yeah…”
“We’re so worried sick about you!” Fritz exclaimed
“Right. You shouldn’t---“
“Are you crazy? We really thought you won’t be coming back at school.” Shaun cut off.
“oh…. Well… here I am!” I stammered, running out of words. Just as, Ms. Carly Woten, our new teacher, walked in class.
So, Fritz and Shaun gave me an expression like, ‘Talk later’. In the middle of our lecture, I felt something weird. I saw visions. Visions, like in the woods. The blue-eyed man. My sister. The wolves. Then, my arm hurts again. I was panting, breathing heavily, when I heard Ms. Carly’s voice,
“Ms. Klein, are you okay?”
“I… I—“ I tried to calm my voice yet I can’t utter the words properly. My thoughts were shrieking like, ‘I’m in pain. My arm hurts. I’m burning!’. Finally, I reached my voice. So, I finished, “Nothing.”
She moved towards her desk and stared at me. Looking intently to my eyes.
Just then a sudden feeling struck me. I heard a voice. Ms. Carly’s voice saying, ‘Just clam down. Try to rub your arms if it hurts. I understand.’ I was actually surprised. I know it wasn’t my imagination. But somehow, I tried to rub my arm. After a little while, I actually felt better. The pain seemed to subside. The hotness feeling were gone. I was like in a mere shock.
After class, when all my classmates got out the room, I gave Ms. Carly a cold stare. Just then she called my attention,
“Yes? Ms. Klein? Do you need something?”
“Y-you—“ I stammered but I didn’t finish my sentence. I broke off. I don’t want to be so rude.
“Nothing. Something was just really bothering me. Sorry…”
“No, it’s okay. In fact, I very well understand. See you, then.” She ended, walking towards the door.

Fritz, Shaun and I went together during our break. They were so eager to know what happened of me for these last few days.
“So, we heard that you were sent in a hospital.” Shaun started.
“Yeah. And your sister.” Fritz shrugged.
“Oh. Right. So, you’ve heard.”
“Well, yeah.” Fritz said rolling her eyeballs.
“Oh, and wait, I also haven’t seen your sister lately.” Shaun wondered. I couldn’t tell how much they’ve heard about it. They don’t even know what happened to Sammy.
“You don’t know?” I asked.
“Uh—no! After ignoring our calls? No idea. We don’t exactly know what’s been happening.” Fritz answered.
“She’s gone…” my voice so low.
“Gone?! What do you mean by gone?” Shaun freaked out. Fritz also seemed surprised by the things I just said. Hardly believing it.
“She…. She’s dead… gone…. Left..” again my voice becoming more hoarser than ever.
“Dead?! Oh my… I—“ Fritz broke off.
“We’re sorry, Sally. We just—we didn’t… know. She… she—“
“It’s okay. After all, I already accepted. I have to move on.” I said. Tears were starting to roll down my cheeks.
“Oh, Sally….”

After class, my friends bid goodbye at me. They were really sorry for what happened. But I know it’s fine. I just need to move on.
I was walking across the road, when I felt someone following me, watching every step I take. Every move I make. I just kept on moving, ignoring the awkwardness I felt. But still, it wasn’t gone. The presence made a great impact to me. So, I made a turn then I saw it. It’s him. Again. Nearby a tree. Those blue eyes staring intently on mine. I felt something weird to me again. I was so hot. I ran away from him, as fast as I can, not aware of my speed. Then, I halted. I looked around and he’s still there, following me. I grabbed my pen and a piece of paper, scribbling down saying,
‘Stay away! Stop Following me!’
I threw it towards him. Giving a signal it was meant for him and I ran away again. I stopped near a shade catching my breath. I tried to look around again but this time he’s no longer there. He’s already gone. He must’ve got my message. Then, I went back home.
