"You again"

I look to my left to find Haechan giving me a death glare

"Are you following me. I get that I'm handsome but-"  he was cut off with the guy on my right

"Stop being a dickhead" Taeil said sounding like he had food in his mouth. He turned to look at my face more clearly " sit, sit, the food is amazing. I helped cut up the carrots. You must try them. Do they look nice?" Taeil said excitingly.

I didn't know how to respond. What am I meant to say?

Someone butts in before I could think of an answer " Taeil Hyung , carrots are carrots. It doesn't make a difference when you cut them." I look up opposite me to see Jisung smiling at me.

I wasn't smiling back which made the atmosphere awkward.

I rub the back of my neck noticing that I'm bringing the cold into such a warm room.

Taeil decided to lightly pull my arm for me to sit down which I let him do. As soon as I sat on the chair, Taeil passed me some food on a plate which I took.

Taeil looked at me, waiting for me to taste some of the carrots. I couldn't help but pick up my spoon to taste this 'oh so delicious carrot'.

As soon as the food entered my mouth, my eyes widened at how good it was. Which made Taeil laugh murmuring a 'I told you so'

Soon later, everyone's attention was back on the food, eating and laughing. Like a real family. I could see everyone teasing Ten on the other side of the table. Ten decided to tease Kun which made everyone turn there attention to Kun.
It was quite funny to watch.

I felt a pull in the corners of my lips. And I let myself go into a genuine smile thinking that everyone's attention was on the boys at the other end.

"Wow this is the first time you have smiled in front of me" Haechan whispered, he sounded shocked. Even I was shocked. I haven't had a genuine smile in a long time. Like I have fake smiled in front of my parents but this was a real one. Why do I feel like smiling now?

I quickly hid my smile with my cold face. "I don't know what your talking about"

Haechan just laughed while turning back to his food which made me turn back to mine.
As I turned myself around, I noticed a pair of chopsticks taking some of my food. I look up to see Chenle with a cheeky smile.

My beautiful food has been touched by others "YAH CHEN-"

Before I could finish scolding him, I heard continuous beeps coming from a car out side. It was pretty loud while made everyone silent in the room.
I knew it was my driver so I got up from my seat murmuring a goodbye and left before any of them could stop me.
