Sonia sighed, resting her chin on the palm of her hand as she leaned out the window, staring out at the endless wood. Her hair flowed gracefully with the cool breeze. Her eyes were filled with longing.

She opened her mouth, and began to sing. The words poured out of her mouth, mixing together to form a lovely melody. The words danced and floated over the treetops, disappearing into the distance. After a few moments of the melodic bliss, she let her voice gradually quiet, turning her back to the window abruptly.

"What's... even the point, right now..? If... If nobody can hear me..." she said, defeated, as she sunk the ground. She buried her face into her knees. She couldn't stay still long, for a heavy knocking on the metal door of her room startled her into standing.

The door was pushed open by a teddy bear, grinning. Half of the bear looked friendly, a plain white bear with pink cheeks. On the other hand, the other half was black, with a red eye and malicious grin. It carried a tray with a glass and pitcher of water, as well as a bowl of porridge. As always. As with most things recently, there was no variety in Sonia's life.

She took the tray.

"Eat up!" the bear prompted, plopping down on the stone floor to wait. With a sigh, Sonia moved to the bare wooden table and sat on the cold ground. She ate the porridge, her distaste for the food visible. After a few minutes of an unbearable silence, she pushed the bowl away-half eaten.

"Aww, again?" the bear said, the smile never leaving his face. "You've gotta stay fit, y'know!"

"I am aware, Monokuma." the princess interrupted, now playing with her long blonde hair. "But I am quite tired of porridge every day, for every meal. Is it possible to at least have some other food? If I must be locked in this dreadful tower.." she frowned.

"Not likely! Of course, I can ask.."

"Please do."

"Okie-dokie!" Monokuma chuckled, taking back the bowl and tray, leaving only the water cup and pitcher.

Sonia sighed yet again, resting her chin on the palm of her hand. That was the most interaction she had in a day, and yet the conversation left her feeling unfulfilled. To be fair, talking to a robotic bear isn't the same as talking to another person. She never got any answers out of him, anyways. Like why she was taken from her home six months ago, and had never seen further than her tower window since. Like why nobody seemed to be looking for her. Like who was the one behind this. So many questions, and not a single answer.
