Feelings pt.2

I was waiting for Taehyung to arrive at the coffee shop. He needed to talk to me about my next mission. I was looking at the door when his face showed up. I waved at him, earning his attention. He came towards the table and sat down. He was fiddling with his fingers nervously. "Hey, are you okay?" I was getting a bit anxious. "Y-yeah." He was stammering. Something's off. "Are you sure?" I asked him again this time a bit more concerned. "You're not safe Helena. He has sent his men after you." He looked at me with worry in his eyes." I was scared to be honest. I saw what they did to Rose. Not to mention that she was my past and I'm her future. I might end up with the same fate as her. "We need to keep you safe." He was still staring at me with concern. He was so gorgeous. I was lost in those deep orbs for a second until he started talking again. "I want you to be my girlfriend." His face was void of any emotion. I was staring at him with wide eyes unable to process what he was trying to come at. "What?! I mean are you serious?" I asked, completely shocked by his sudden proposal. "That's the only way I can stay with you longer. I mean I can't risk your life and safety again. I can't lose you at any cost." He was pleading and I had nothing to say. It hurts me that he wants me to be with him just for the sake of my safety and blah blah but then I realized we both have no choice but to compromise for my safety. I don't wanna end up like Rose. I accepted his request and he finally smiled. "I'll try my best to never leave you alone and be with you everywhere to ensure your safety. I promise I'll be more conscious towards you." He suddenly placed his hand over mine and I flinched under his cold touch. He quickly removed his hand and stared at a distance awkwardly. I chuckled at his cute actions and the way his cheeks were turning red. Wait. Is he finally getting some feelings back? Am I being delusional? I just hope I can return his life back to him. That jewel is what holds his precious soul. If he's doing so much for me I'll return the favour too. I just smiled at him and then we left the coffee shop. He dropped me off at home. I was feeling a bit wierd. I never has this warm feeling inside me. I mean Jungkook also makes me feel this way but there's something about Taehyung that makes me question my feelings for him. Am I still doing it just because I wanna end all of this and live a normal life again? Or am I doing this just because my heart beated differently for him today? I never let myself drown in those dark lifeless orbs but I could see some life there, they were trying to talk to me but couldn't. I jerked my thoughts off and started doing my homework. It was late in the evening. I was getting sleepy and tired. I quickly finished my homework and decided to sleep early.

In the dream...

"Y/N, I'm glad you came early. I have something to show you." Jimin held my hand and took me to a library. I saw that an old book was lying on the table. So he might be reading something and decided to show to me. I stopped walking when he released my hand. "Helena you might not like what you'll read but I guess I have no choice but to show you this so that you won't complain later." He lend me the book and I stared at it. Wait is that a Phoenix? What does it mean? My eyes quickly turned towards the tiny description below the page. "The one who holds the Phoenix's powers shall face the same fate. He will never be able to love and will die and reborn to fight again. He musn't confess to his beloved or he'll turn into ashes and his soul will never return to the human world." My legs were shaking and head was spinning. My eyes started tearing up and my body started trembling I was about to fall when Jimin caught me. "Dear, I'm so sorry. I wish I could help you. But you're stuck with this fate." His fingers were carressing my face to calm me down but I felt like I lost my soul. Never in my life have I felt so lifeless, so helpless. I was hanging in his arms unable to move. "And what if I win this fight? What if I return the prince's soul back?" I stared at his worried face. "My brother can secure your fate. He can change the whole thing. But that requires bravery and wisdom. Are you prepared yet? I had been training you but I know defeating the Raven king isn't a piece of cake." He was being honest. But I had no choice but to fight him and have my life back. "I'm ready Jimin. Train me harder. I'm willing to give my best. Please help me." He nodded with a smile. "Sure but that means you have to stay here in this world for as long as I like." His words made my eyes widen. "Wait, How? I mean I have a family, I have a school to attend and a life to live. How can I be sleeping for such a long time?" He chuckled at my hasty behaviour. "Don't worry sweetheart I got this covered. You won't feel the time passing in your world so chill and be ready for the training." I just stared at him and quickly stood straight. "To the training room, now!" He ordered and I quickly walked towards the big ballroom. I knew I had to dance with that stupid Raven king and then pierce his heart with my sword.

"Your Majesty, you have a letter." A young maid came and handed him the letter. Jimin seemed confused. He quickly opened the letter and started reading it. His face was turning red with anger and eyes were burning with rage. "That dog dared to send us an invitation to a ball he's arranging. I can't believe it. He even said that you are his special guest." He was infuriated. I felt a presence beside him who put its hand on his shoulder. He turned his hand towards it. "You must go brother. That's the only way you can kill him. If he wants to see Helena let him see her. Train her and teach her how to look for the best time to pierce his heart. This is our only chance. He might want to see my misery, how I can't be a complete body. It's hard for you I know but we have to take the risk." It was Taehyung. He was speaking the truth. That bastard only wants to enjoy our misery and take advantage of us. We must be really careful. Don't worry Raven King we'll give you the show of your life or perhaps your death. I smirked. We still have a week till the ball. "Helena are you ready?" Jimin asked a bit concerned now. "Yes I am!" I chirped in enthusiasm, earning a smirk from him. "That's my girl." He suddenly groaned in pain as if someone hit him on the shoulder. "Ouch! Tae why did you hit me?" He was caressing his arm. "Where are your manners?" To which Jimin laughed and I smiled. Someone's a bit jealous. I thought to myself. Well let's kick Raven king's butt.
