Who am I?
An idiot, my classmates would say. She never gets anything right.
A disappointment, my parents would say. How can she ever be successful?
My older sister, my brother would say. She worries too much.
What do I think about myself?
Hmm.
I'm not the prettiest.
I'm certainly not the smartest.
Not very popular either.
I don't exactly have a purpose, or a goal.
I'm just one of 7 billion humans scrambling around Earth.
Wake up. Go to school. Come back home. Do homework. Go to sleep.
The cycle repeats over and over again.
Weeks, months, years fly by.
While my classmates find joy in life....I see nothing.
No happiness, or sadness.
Just a blank canvas. A black and white world.
Until someone brought color to it.
Who am I?
My best friend, she would say. You've helped me grow so much.
