Chapter 22

It was a long six months without their mate. No one knew where she was. They search from the highest mountain to the biggest rain forest. The twins didn't know what their next step was going to be. They wanted to find Kasha so bad. They missed her so much they started to slip on their Alpha duties. Many understand due to the loss of the Alphas pups and mate. Travis had to pick up most of the duties for them. Even though he hated what they did to his sister they was still best friends. He even stopped talking to them for about 3 months until Kamryn notice how all three of them look miserable looking for Kasha. So she thought of a plan to get them locked in a room together to hash it out, and boy they did.

The whole pack seemed died inside without their Luna. The energy was gone and the light was low, but they all stood on their toes. Even though they felt drained they had to be ready for any enemy attack.

Xavier and Dean were in their office going over some documents as usual until they heard  a knock on the door.

"Come in"  Dean yelled.

The door slowly open and Elizabeth came around it. They both became sick to their stomachs just looking at her, at them. The only reason why they are alive is because they threaten to kill themselves if we detained them in any way or banished them. Knowing that they are linked to Kasha they took no risks.

"What do you want?" Xavier growled. His fangs were out and claws extended.

"Oh you wouldn't dare Xavier calm down" Nicole said.

"What the fuck do you want" Dean snared.

"Well we have been waiting for far too long to get over your sadness and everything." Elizabeth started. " We wanted to say that we are ready to become Lunas" she finished.

The twins looked at each then back at her like she just grew two heads. Did she really just say that. Did she really think that after all of this that they would make either one of them Luna. There is only one true Luna and that is Kasha Johnson. They automatically refused. They wanted no part in their crazy scheme.

"You see" Nicole paused. " you have no choice.  If you disagree then we will die which means Kasha will die."

"Plus what makes you think she will come back to you two. Its been six months and she still is not here.  She is not fit to be a Luna leaving the pack behind." Xavier growled at her comment walking up to her slowly.

"Speak ill about her again and I will not hesitate to kill you"

"Try it and she will be dead too" Nicole chuckled.

Xavier backed up a little. Looking at Nicole dead in the eye. He did know what to do. He didn't want to give them the title of Luna, they didn't deserve it. It truly belonged to Kasha. Xavier walked back to his desk looking defeated. He took the glass of scotch the was on his desk and gulped it down. Since Kasha has been gone the twins had been drowning their sorrows in liquor. He turned around and lean up against his desk looking at Nicole.

"Talk" He growled.

"Xavier" Dean yelled.

"Shutup Dean, the way I see it we can't do anything at the moment without risking Kasha's life. One wrong move and we end it. If she doesn't come back at least we can try to give her a life to live.

Dean looked at Xavier with disgust. He didn't want to admit it, but he knew that Xavier was right. He walked to the couch with his head hanging low. He plopped down thinking about Kasha. How could he let it go so far. He should of did or said something before this all escalated to this. He picked up his glass that was next to him on the lamp stand. He took a small sip letting the burning sensation travel down his throat and spread throughout his chest. He hissed from the toxic liquid.
