Tim parked the car and I got out. I saw David waiting for me.
"Hello Miss. Erika" he said in a formal voice.
"Hello" I replied with the same formal tone.
I gave the thanks to Tim and I walked behind David. We took the elevator to the 6th floor. From down the hallway I could clearly hear the guys yelling, laughing, and arguing. We stood in front of the door that said 27F.
"Just letting you know" David said. "There are 3 teenage boys and one that isn't but still acts like one, in here."
"Got it" I said
David opened the door and we went in. The room was divided into two, it was messy, but not a whole lot. There was a table with breakfast leftovers that the room service hadn't picked up yet. The beds weren't made, and there were clothes and shoes spread across the floor.
"Erika!" Michael said while approaching David and I.
He gave me a tight hug.
"Hi Michael"
"I'll be down the hallway if you guys need anything" David said
"Okay" Michael said.
"So what are you guys doing?" I asked
"Nothing much, we're playing Fifa, and Black Ops, and some Mario" he said "just resting"
"That's cool" I said while looking around the room.
"So how was your morning?" Michael asked.
"Pretty good, I went out for breakfast with Lily and Josh" I said
"Lily and Josh?"
"Lily's my dorm mate, and Josh is her boyfriend"
"Oh, okay" he said.
"Ah, you came!" Ashton said coming through the door and walking towards me, giving me a hug.
"Sure did" I said "oh, you're sweaty" I said with a disgusted look.
"I was just in the gym" he said
Calum came from the other side of the room.
"Hey Erika, want to play ping pong with me?" He asked while walking towards us.
"Sure, I love ping pong!" I said excited.
"Awesome! There's a ping pong table in the game room downstairs" he said
"Let's go!" I said looking at Michael, Calum, and Ashton.
"I'm gonna take a quick shower first" Ashton said "I'll catch up to you guys"
"Where's Luke?" Michael asked Calum.
"He's talking on the phone with his mum" he said
"I'll tell him where you guys are." said Ashton.
"Alright, see ya" said Calum
Michael, Calum, and I went downstairs towards the lobby and into the game room which was empty. We walked towards the ping pong table that was in the middle of the room. Calum and I each stood on either side of the table with a paddle in our hands, Calum was holding the tiny ball. Michael stood behind me leaning against a coin exchanger.
"Are you ready?" Calum asked.
I nodded and he served the ball. I hit it after its first bounce. Calum did the same. It was going pretty consistently, when all of a sudden he gave it a hard hit, making me miss it and him gaining a point.
"Yes!" He yelled.
"That was just luck" I said.
"Yeah right!"
Michael was just watching.
"Okay then, let's play that way" I said seriously.
Calum served the ball again, I hit it after the first bounce. Calum hit it back with a bit of force. I hit it back harder, then Calum. Then I suddenly gave the ball a big hit and it went flying towards Calum's side. I gained a point.
"Wow, that was a nice shot" Michael said smiling.
"That was just luck" Calum said.
"Yeah right!" I said mockingly.
The game went on, sometimes Calum would be winning, other times I would be, then other times we would be tied. Later on Ashton and Luke showed up.
"Do you guys want lunch?" Luke asked.
"Yeah, I'm starving!" Calum said, dropping the paddle on the table.
"I'm not sure what they're making, but it smells really good" Ashton said.
The five of us walked towards the dinning hall, Michael was walking next to me, bumping his hand into mine until he held it. I looked up a him, my face blushing. In the dinning hall there was a table with food trays along it. Calum was the first one to approach it. Michael handed me a plate.
"Grab whatever you want" he said.
I smiled at him insecurely. The food looked amazing, there was salad, grilled chicken, garlic bread, mac and cheese, pretty much everything. I only filled my plate half way with salad and some veggies. Being picky about my body, weight, and what I ate was starting to become a daily routine now.
I hoped Michael, or the guys wouldn't say or think anything. I just can't help but be insecure about myself, and hate the way I look. I've always been on the heavier side, and I've tried loosing weight, but it wouldn't work. It would still come to my mind how Michael could be interested in me.
