So um hi. I know it's been a while since I last uploaded and I'm gonna try to more often now since I don't have much school work to do right now, but please take the poem I wrote for English, it's based on the picture above. Also the picture is called "Heat Wave" by Kadir Nelson.

She opened the window at first
To get some air
Along with her small dark pug
Who decided to take a lick
From the popsicle she has
Sitting secure in her hand
Peacefully enjoying the quiet
Sunset as well as the bustling
In the streets beneath her
But soon the man whom
She had loved appeared below
Unseen in the frame
The man who had caused her pain
By leaving her for another
To which she decided to turn
Her nose upward and away from him
Meaning she wanted nothing more
Than for him to leave.

Also it would be awesome if you guys could leave some feedback on this because my teacher hasn't. Or on any of my stories since I'd like to improve/polish my writing a bit. :)
