Shay's POV
I sighed to myself as I watch the kids play out the kitchen window. I'm currently waiting for Yesung and Ryeowook to get back with my cleaning supplies, and the groceries I asked for. It's been 10 years since Yesung, Ryeowook, Hyukjae, and I started living together. Violet is now 10, where Jongwoon, Angie, and Eunhyuk are 9. Our lives couldn't be better.
Heechul and Leeteuk have a set of twins, Heenim and Teuk. Sami and Donghae have 3 children of their own. Hae, Jeno, and Amber. Thankfully all the children where born, and in mine and Hyukjae's wedding. We got married on February 14, 2016. My life has been a series of ups and downs, but I couldn't be happier. I then smiled as I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I then felt a kiss on my cheek, which let me know it's Hyukjae.
"What are you thinking about, Angel?" He whispered as he watched the kids with me through the window.
"Of how thankful I am to have this life with you. I swear I never knew my life would be this great." I admitted.
"Honestly, I never pictured this future, but I couldn't be more thankful for it." I then chuckled. "What?" He asked with a smile.
"Can you believe this all started with the promise you made me at 14?" His smile then widened.
"No, but I couldn't be happier about it. To think I almost lost you to Yesung though." He joked, and I laughed.
"It's true. You almost did." I then turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck. "But I'm glad you didn't. Because I love you, Lee Hyukjae, with all my heart." He then rested his forehead against mine.
"I love you, Lee Shay, and I have no idea what I would have done without you. If I wouldn't have made you the promise that I would date you at 19, but looking back I got regret a thing. I don't regret it, because it led us here." We then pressed our lips together in a soft, loving kiss. Our lives aren't perfect. Never have been, and never will be. But we are pretty damn close, and that's all that matters.
