Amanda's P.O.V

"Ok guys , you can go home now. We're closing" Austin said. "Finally" Alice whispered , making me laugh "Tired , huh?" I asked her "Oh , hell yes. This job is driving me crazy" she said "I feel you" I said while I got my purse up from the floor. "You want a ride home?" Garett ask me "Sure" I replied. 

We all work at Starbucks Coffee , Alice , Garett and I. Austin is our boss. For a boss , he's actually very nice. Starbucks isn't the best place on Earth to work at , but I need to save enough money to get out of this town. I won't become anything stuck in here. "Bye Garett , bye Mandy" Alice said "bye" we answered smiling.  

My name is Amanda Rozenblit (picture on the right) , a normal girl from Gloucester. I just turned nineteen , and I still don't know what to do with my life. I came to Gloucester when I was about 6 years old ,I'm originally from Brazil. My dad met my mom there during vacations , and soon , they fell in love. It didn't take too long for mom to get pregnant of my older brother Joey.  Dad was from the UK , and she was from the other side of the world , so dad found a way to settle in Brazil.  A few years later , they decided to go back to dad's hometown. And here I am!

"Come on let's go. Enough with the daydreaming" Garett told me "I'm not daydreaming you idiot" I said smirking at him , while he giggled. Joseph closed the store , and Garett , as he promised , gave me a ride home.  

"Thank you for the ride! See you tomorrow" I told him after I got out of his car "You're welcome , love" . I smiled as a looked as his car going down the street.  

I entered on my flat , and took my shoes off. Oh god , I'm so tired. You know that tiny flats , where everything is close to another? Yeah , that's where I live. I went straight to the kitchen , and got me a bag of chips. I don't know why I'm skinny , I eat like a pig. I laid down on my comfy sofa , amd turned on the tv. Moments later , I heard some noises , like voices. Oh well , some of my neighboors are loud. Moments later , I heard them again. "Hello?" I said as I got up from the sofa , searching for the voices. Oh my god , today's the day of my death. Someone's going to murder me.  

I got the first thing that I saw in my living room to use as a weapon. Aha! A remote will surely help me kill the invators. Way to go Amanda , way to go. I walked through the small hallway , until my bedroom . I slowly held the door handle , and soon opened the door. "Got you!" I screamed as I kicked it . I was shocked at the image I was looking at.

*Flashback*

It was my first day at Gloucester. I was so uncomfortable at this new and unknown place. I have just arrived from from Brazil , which is very , very , very , very different from England. I still don't have any friends , it's just my parents , my brothers , and I.  

I got out of my new house , and walked through my neighborhood. I saw some kids playing , and decided to go and talk to them "Hello! My name is Amanda , and I'm new here" I said proudly with a very bad English . All of them laughed at me , except one little boy. I slowly walked away from them , in my house direction. "Hey! Come back here!" The boy said as he got closer "My name is Nathan , nice to meet you Amanda. You can call me Nath!" He said smiling "Hi" I answered him in a shy tone "They are a bunch of jerks!" He told me. And this was the beggining of a huge friendship. 

For years , we've been like brother and sister. We did every little thing you can imagine. We went to the same school , same parties , same everything , plus , he was my neighbor. Since I met Nath , he loved singing. Music was his everything , and he was very good at it , I must admit.

When we were 16 years old , Nathan made an audition for a boyband , which is now The Wanted , and you can already imagine that he passed. He left Gloucester , his friends , family , and me. He promissed to text me everyday , to skype and to call , but he never did.

*End of flashback*

"Nathan , what are you doing here?"

If you don't know who Nathan Sykes is , I'll tell you. He's 1/5 of the super famous boyband The Wanted. Yeah , he's the same Nathan that I used to know. The same Nathan that has been my bestfriend for 13 years. The same Nathan that has forgotten about my existence. 

He was standing right in front of me , with a rose on his hand , with that big smile he has. Oh that smile... I missed him. What is he doing here? WITH HIS BAND MATES? He looked deeply into my eyes with a smirk on his lips , and said "Hey babe"
