Loneliness

20 years later:

It has been a month since the comet flew past the land and past Glockenspur, a month since the dragon Drake fought and defeated the evil dragon Griffin, and a month since Drake and Geoff became brothers. Everything was calm and peaceful throughout the land, once again. But as days go by, the young dragon was still a bit troubled. Yes, he has Geoff, Lian, and Mansel, his closest friends, but he still feels lonely at times. With Griffin gone, now he knows for sure that he's the last dragon in the world, and that is a sad and depressing thought. He was in his room, engrossed with his thoughts, that he didn't hear Geoff coming in. The young man comes into the room and sees his dragon brother. Looking at the troubled look on his face, his smile faltered to a frown. "Are you alright, Drake?" he asked him.

Drake hears the human's voice. He got startled, but calmed after a second. "Hi, Geoff. Yes, I'm alright" he said. Hearing the sound of his voice, Geoff wasn't convinced. "It doesn't sound like you're alright, what's wrong?" he asked. Drake was hesitant, but he didn't want to lie to his brother. "Well, it's just that, I knew Griffin was terrible, but upon seeing another dragon, I was happy for a short moment. After a little while, the feeling that I had, the feeling of loneliness, just came back to me" he explained. Geoff couldn't help but feel very sorry for him. All that he could do is place a comforting hand on his shoulder and said "I know, Drake. I know that it's hard, but remember, you're not alone. You have me, Lian, and Mansel, along with everyone else that's here".

Drake wanted to be comforted by this, he should have, but all he could do was give a small sigh and a "ok" to Geoff. The former stable boy looked at the dragon with surprise. He truly was lonely and depressed. Geoff wasn't sure what else to do, but an idea came to him. "Hey Drake, how about we go walk around the woods, that always cheers you up" he said to him. Drake sighed and looked at the human. "Alright, let's do that" he said with a smile, a lot bigger than the one he had before. Geoff's smile returned as he said "great, I'll meet you outside". As he left the room, Drake's smile faltered a little. He is still kinda sad, but maybe this will help. He could really use the day out. So, he gets up and makes his way to the front entrance.

(Aww, poor Drake is feeling lonely. Well I shall turn that frown upside down. Also, I have a question I like to ask you guys. If anyone knows where exactly the movie takes place, feel free to let me know. Have a good day/night!)
