It's now Friday morning, I woke up extra early to make sure I could take a shower and go over my papers before the test. I've been busy with other things this week and haven't really prioritized what's really important, also I just didn't have it in me to study. I plan on leaving soon so I can get to my class at least ten minutes early to ensure that I won't be late.

My roommate Peggy is still sleeping. She always is when I'm up this early, she thinks I'm wasting vulnerable sleep time with my time on organizing and doing my morning routine. Her classes usually starts later than mine, except for one that we have together. Both Peggy and I are sophomores, even though I am one I can't help stressing over the idea of missing a class or coming a little too late to one. I like to have things under control.

I look at the time and see that it's finally time to get dressed and get ready to go. I put on my ripped blue jeans and a white t-shirt on, pull my light brown hair up in a loose ponytail and take my white sneakers on. I take my bag over my shoulder and with one last glance in the mirror I look at the girl with big hazel eyes with a beauty mark next under the right eye, I nod and head out to my class.

I am grateful that the campus is near, I don't have a car and I don't drive which makes it a little hard for me to take me to places here in Washington DC. As I walk to my class my phone starts to ring, I pick it up out of my bag and see that it's Kayla who's calling.

"Hey you," I answer.

"Hey Han, listen I need some help. When will you be done with your test?"

"Um, I'm not sure. I'm on my way to it now. What's wrong?"

"I'll tell you when we meet." Kayla says.

"Sure, I'll text you when I'm done."

"Yes do that, I'll see you later." She sounds a little stressed, I wonder what she wants to talk about.

When I walk into my English class the room is half full, everyone is almost here. I take a seat and look around some are still going over their papers and flipping through pages, and some are probably running across campus to make it on time.

I'm starting to get a little nervous, I pick up my notebook to go over again through the pages, as if I can just absorb all the information by glancing at it quickly enough.

"I'm guessing you're ready to pass this test."

I jump a little when I hear the deep voice from behind me. I turn to look around and see it's Sam who's wearing a mischievous smile on his face.

Me and Sam or Sammie as I call him have known each other since High School, we've been close friends ever since then. He's really kind, funny and most of the time he's sarcastic, I guess he got that from his older sister Ellie. Sam has light brown hair, he got hazel eyes and a little freckles on his nose. He is also very fit and attractive.

"Am I, am I really though?" I joke as I look at him. "Can't you tell by my wild page flipping and unsteady heartbeat that I'm so confident in my ability to pass this test today?"

He chuckles humorlessly and sits down behind me, while I return to my page flipping.

The class starts to fills up and Professor Williams makes a point for us to get ready for the test, he hands over the papers to the students in the first road and makes sure they pass it over to everyone in this room.

Fifty-five minutes has now passed, and I'm finally done. I go to the front desk and hands over the test to Professor Williams. I'm walking out of the room and as I'm about to text Kayla someone excitedly pulls me through the hallways and out.

I turn around to see who it is and see it's Kayla. "Kay, couldn't you just text me or call me instead of dragging me out like you just did?" I say as i rub my arm who's in pain.
