Chapter 2: Seirin Versus Yosen

Hanagasaku's Point Of View....

It was already time for me to get off and go home. I decided to take a shower in the employee showers and got ready. It was only two in the morning and I began to carry Kai and Haru to our house. I carefully, opened the door and brought them to my room and slept with them. They like it better when I sleep with them. They are scared of the dark and hate being by themselves and are very shy around others as well. I decided to get some sleep and rest for my entire schedule for today. Today was a Friday and that meant that it would be the weekend and I would have to work more. After a while, I let sleep consume me and fell into a peaceful slumber.

In The Morning....

I woke up to my mental alarm and began to get ready. I quickly made food for them and our father as well. He may treat me horribly but I still love and care about him. "Kai, Haru, time to wake up and get ready." I said as I shook them gently. They began to stir and rubbed their eyes awake. 'So cute.' I thought to myself with a smile. They looked at me and I began to shower them and get them dressed. When they were finished, we all walked together. Father, was still asleep so we decided to leave him be. "When I come to pick you up, we will be heading to my School because I am the Manager of the Basketball Club. We have a practice match for today." I explained to them. They both nodded as they listened to me, intently. 'We better go before he wakes up.' I thought as I looked at the time. It was already seven in the Morning and their classes start at seven thirty. "Well, let's go." I said to them as we finished our food. They all began to get their bags and started to put on their shoes. When they were ready, we began to head out and I made sure to lock the house and secure it. 'Mom, I promise that I will take care of them in your place. I hope that you can see them right now. They really miss you. Father, has been different since you died.' I thought as I looked up to the sky. "So, what time will we be home then?" Kai asked me. I grabbed their hands and intertwined our hands together. "Well, I have to be there at two and you guys, get off at around one forty five in the Afternoon. The match should end around six and then, I have to work at nine." I said to them. "We're coming with you again, right?" Haru asked as he squeezed my hand. "Always and forever. I won't leave your guys' side until you want me to." I said as I squeezed both their hands gently, to reassure them. "We're happy to have you, Mommy Hana." They said to me with a smile. "I'm happy to have you boys as well." I said to them with a laugh. 'Things are getting more harder to mask around others and my body, is still in a lot of pain.' I thought to myself. I decided to shake it off and endure it because I don't want my brothers to worry about me. I want them to have a good childhood although it is rather hard for me to grant that but I can still try. We reached Hirosei Elementary, and I let go of their hands. I kneeled down to reach their heights and kissed their foreheads. "Be sure that you both, behave. I will be back real soon and make new Friends." I said to them. "We will." They said as they both kissed my cheeks. I nodded at them and they began to head inside. I waited until they were all inside the School, before I left. I made a dash for Seirin to get ready for my Classes. When I was there, I was still a bit early and had some time on my hands. "Since I got here early, I can study my notes more." I said to myself as I dug in my bag. I took out my books and began to study it. I had a photographic memory and also rather fast reflexes. I also used to play sports as well until Mom, died. After a few minutes, the bell rang and the teacher came in and we started our lessons. We had a test and as usual, I finished first and came out on top. 'Today is the day that I meet the Basketball Team members. I wonder what they will think about it and if they will like me.' I thought as I began to make some training regiments for them and new strategies.

Tetsuya's Point Of View....

It was already Lunch and we all began to head to the Gym. We were going to be meeting with our new Manager. I was actually quite curious about her and also hoped that they knew how to cook. "Who do you think it is?" Mikose asked us. "What are you talking about?" I asked them. "AHHH!" Everyone yelled out as they looked at me. "WHEN DID YOU GET HERE!?" Kagami asked as he shouted at me. He was holding me by my collar and shaking me. "Please stop." I said to him. Finally, he released me and out me down. We all heard a whistle and turned to Coach. "Alright, time for you guys to meet your new Manager. She will be coming here in a few moments." Coach told us. "I can't wait to meet her, either." Koganei-Senpai said as he nodded to Mitobe-Senpai. They were always able to communicate even though Mitobe-Senpai never talks. I don't think that we ever heard his voice at all since we started. After a few moments, the Gym doors opened. We all turned to the noise and I saw the same girl again. She was wearing the Seirin uniform and leggings with the skirt. She also had knee length socks as well. 'She went to our School. Is she older or younger? I don't recall seeing her in any of the Second Year Classes.' I thought as I wondered about her. "Hi, my name is Hanagasaku Eienni. Feel free to call me Hana or Saku if you like. I will be your new Manager from now on and I hope that we all get along." She said as she owed to us. "My name is Taiga Kagami." Kagami introduced himself. "Koki Furihata." "Satoshi Tsuchida." "Junpei Hyuga." "Hiroshi Fukuda." "Koichi Kawahara." "Kazuya Hoshikira." "Kaito Nakamura." "Juro Mikose." "Shun Izuki." "Teppei Kiyoshi." "I'm Shinji Koganei and this is Rinnosuke Mitobe. He is a quiet person and doesn't talk." Koganei-Senpai said as he introduced Mitobe-Senpai and himself. "What about you?" She asked me with a smile. Once again, I was surprised that she could see new. "Tetsuya Kuroko." I responded to her. "Well, it's nice to meet my Upperclassmen as well as some people in my grade level as well. I hope that we can become well acquainted." She said with a bow. I have to admit that even I thought she was cute as well. "Anyways, I've seen you all play and I came up with separate training regiments, that would help you all in your forte." She said as she handed it to Coach. "This is amazing. You only just had to look and observe them. This is really useful. We will start on it now." Coach said in amazement as she looked it over. Kagami, was doing leg stretches and running, to jump higher and run faster. My own was running, to be more faster than my opponents and also shooting drills. She was also making me practice my dribbling as well. "If you're going to shoot, put your hand on the side and then with your other, push it up, to give it a high arc and make the shot faster. Also add, a bit more force and strength into it." Saku said as she guided me. As I shot the ball, it was faster than my Phantom Shot and had a higher arc than Midorima's shots. "See, just try doing it like that more often, Kuroko-Senpai." She said as she went to the other side of the Gym and began to help the others as well. I looked at her with newfound curiosity and amazement. I decided that I would use that shot for the match against Yosen. "Kagami-Senpai, I think you should try and practice your defense. It would be good to give your opponents a hard time if your defense is stronger as well." She said to him. "What do you mean?" He asked her. "Please hand me the ball." She asked the Coach. Coach nodded and tossed her a Basketball. "I will try and shoot and you have to block me." She said as she pointed to herself and then to him. He looked at her confused but nodded. She began to dribble the ball and ran to him. Kagami tried to block her and steal the ball but, she managed to get passed him and managed to jump and dunk the ball. As she landed, I saw her smile kind of strain but she looked at us, still smiling. "See what I mean. You have to anticipate all the moves that your opponents could make. If you went right, they would go left and so on. If you can anticipate any and all of their solutions, it would make it harder for them but easier for you. As you can see, size and height don't matter." She said as she explained to him. The way she moved, looked like she was in pain but her face, doesn't show it. "Since when did you play?" Hyuga-Senpai asked her. "Oh, I used to always play Sports as a kid and joined many games but about six years ago, I decided to quit." She said to him. "Why did you quit?" I asked her. "Well, it was because of some Family problems so I decided to quit and help out. Since then, I haven't had the time for any Sports or free time." She said to us with a shrug. Before we could ask more, the bell rang and we all had to go to our classes.
