chapter five.

~Lydia's p.o.v~

"Lydia.." I groan, "lia wake up! it's already 11am. what about our cute day we were gonna have playing video games and eating junk?" I then released that voice belongs to calum. a smile appeared on my face as I slowly opened my eyes, looking up to see calum smiling down, the crinkles by his eyes standing out. "come on lazy bones!" he laughed.

I sat up and stretched making the weirdest noises. I scrunched my nose up, "ew I really need to have a shower." I whine, "god you're cute when you scrunch your nose up.." calum mumbled, "hmmm? what'd you say?" I smiled looking at him. "nothing.. it's nothing. go have a shower I'll make some breakfast and get the couch ready."

I slowly started to turn the hot, then cold water on. I yawned as I took my clothes off. stepping into the shower I started to wash my hair and body. I only usually take like 10-15 minutes in the shower. I'm not really a big fan of long showers. I know I'm weird.

i lazily put the towel around my body as I walked to my "room". grabbing my sweat pants + sweater, I put my hair into a fish tail braid. I didn't put any makeup on because there was no point if it was just me and calum. I grabbed my phone and walked out to the lounge room. I saw two bowls of froot loops on the coffee table. looking over at the couch there's all pillows and blankets thrown on it. "I know it's not much but I thought it was cute." calum smiled standing next to me. I look down and smile, I then noticed all calums bracelets. he wears those every day. I brushed it off and grabbed a bowl of cereal.

I plopped onto the couch and saw all the games spread out.

I smiled as I started to scoop the small rings of cereal in my mouth. "are you gonna sit?" I asked patting the seat next to me. he laughed and sat a little to far away. "why so far away bro?" I laughed. he moved alittle closer making me smile. "that's better."

"what do you wanna play?" he asked. I looked at all the games. "BLACK OPS 2!!! ZOMBIE MODE YES OH MY GOD" I squealed. "alright calm down." he laughed standing up putting the disc into the console. I clapped my hands together. he gave me a controller, "I'm gonna smash you!" I smirked. "not unless I smash you first." he winks. I start to feel heat rise to my cheeks. I was blushing?? I shouldn't be feeling this way to calum. I like ashton... but calum?

I shook it off and focused on smashing calum in the game.

"HAHAH I TOLD YOU I WOULD KILL THE MOST ZOMBIES!! IM A PRO!" I yell as I look over to calum. "you only won because I was not trying my hardest." he poked his tongue out. "sure, clum clum. what ever you believe." I push him with my shoulder. "what do you wanna play next?" he asked. "nothing. I just wanna talk." I smiled.

I turned and faced him, crossing my legs. "what's that?" he asked pointing to the hickey on my neck, "oh.. that's from ashton." I rolled my eyes. "oh okay." he whispered looking down.

"clum, can I ask you something?" I Half whisper, bitting my lip. "sure lia... what is it?" he answered looking worried. "uhm. why do you...why do you wear them every day?" i point to his bracelets, "and why have you been acting so..so off lately?" I half frown.

"I-I ummm.. promise me you won't tell a soul. promise me you won't hate me.." he mumbled. "I promise calum. please just tell me what's wrong."

"okay. so.. ever since we've became friends I've had feelings for you.. the first time I saw you I thought you were the most gorgeous girl I'd ever seen. but this hole time I've never had the guts to admit my feelings I had towards you. and then I saw you and ashton becoming a 'thing' or whatever it kinder broke my heart. I felt like I was never good enough for you, I was a worthless piece of shit. like you would never love me the way I loved you. I felt so crushed, and helpless. that's when I started to do this..." by this point I already had tears in my eyes. I watched him take off all his bracelets. My eyes widen. seeing red puffy lines across his right wrist, some looked like they were done a week ago, some last night. I started crying. I took his wrist and and ran my finger over them. I cried even more. "c-calum.." I chocked. "sh sh, lia don't cry. it isn't your fault. it's mine." I put my lips to his wrist and kissed them. a few tears fell onto the cuts. "calum I never meant to hurt you. I'm s-so sorry." I crawled onto his lap and wrapped my arms around his neck, and hugged him so tight. never wanting to let go. I cried into his shoulder as he rubbed circles on my back.

"lia it's okay, I'm fine. don't worry about me." I pushed back.

"DONT WORRY ABOUT YOU?? JESUS CALUM LOOK AT YOUR ARM! LOOK AT WHAT I HAVE CORSED! I DONE THIS TO YOU! AND DONT SAY I DIDNT! IM THE REASON, IF I WASNT SO STUPID YOU WOULDN'T HAVE DONE THIS TO YOUR SELF! CALUM FUCK SAKE YOUR NOT FIN-" my eyes grew wide, as the tears kept falling, I felt lips crash onto mine. after a few seconds of me trying to figure out on what's going on, I kissed back closing my eyes. he kissed me hard, as I ran my fingers threw his hair.
he kissed me with anger, and love, I kissed him with pain. he pulled away and put his forehead on mine. "I've wanted to do that for so long you wouldn't believe it." he whispered.

that's when I realised I had feelings for calum hood.
