Chapter 8: Second Day

Wrote the whole thing today. Be proud guys.

*Sara's Point of View*

I woke up miserably around 5:30, too lazy to take a shower.

"Babe, come back to bed." Beau mumbled, grabbing my hand.

"I've gotta go soon, Beau. School." I whispered. "Sleep in, you've got enough time."

He groaned. "I'll miss you."

I rolled my eyes. "You're so dramatic, I'll be back before you know it."

I made myself two frozen waffles and got changed into jeans and a plaid shirt. I put my hair into a messy bun, put on a little makeup, and packed up all my stuff for school.

Glancing at my watch, I tried not to panic. 6:15. Better go catch the metro, which leaves every 15 minutes...so it'll probably be there at 6:30. A half hour there, ten minutes to get to the school, class starts at 7:30. Time to go.

I quickly went back to the bedroom and kissed Beau on the forehead. "I love you."

"I love you too, Sar-bear. Have a good day."

"You too." I left, as I closed the door I heard him scream "Shit!" Running back into our room, my heart racing, I saw Beau running around madly. "Beau! What's wrong?!"

"I forgot! I've got work!" he said, throwing on a clean shirt and jeans.

I sighed. "You scared me! I thought you were like, dying or something!"

He snickered. "Sorry, love. Anyway, you better get goin', it's almost 6:20. Damn, work started at 6."

"Okay, see you later." I said, kissing him a final time before going to the metro.

Once at school, I found Jai, Em, Luke, Parmi, James, and Allie walking around.

"Ey, you made it!" Jai said. "What time do you hafta wake up to get here?"

"Five thirty." I said sadly.

"Sucks to suck." James said, sighing.

I glared at him. "Would you like to live as far away as I do?"

He laughed, putting his hands up. "Sorry."

Emma cut in. "So what's your full schedule, Sar? I feel like I barely saw you yesterday!"

I pulled out the sheet of paper the school sent in the mail. "First I've got Language Arts,"

"With me!" Luke said.

I laughed. "Yeah, with Lukey. Second I've got US History with James and Parmiss. Third is Algebra with-"

"Me!" James said.

I rolled my eyes. "Anyway, I think once Skip gets back he has it with us. Fourth I have Sculpture with Jai, Allie, and Parmi."

"You guys all take Sculpture?" Emma asked.

"Yeah." I said. It was a bit shocking actually, but there's something about it I kinda like. "So fifth we all have lunch together, then sixth you and I have Spanish. Seventh I have Chem with Skip once he gets back, eighth I have Gym with Allie and Parmiss, and ninth I have choir with Jai and Luke."

Parmi laughed. "You're taking choir? I thought you hated singing!"

I shrugged. "Don't we all sing when we're home alone? I though I might try it out."
