So after that whole thing with the mage and Gabriel's magic and what not, the school went back to normal. The classes were normal again and the hustle and bustle of students could be heard through the halls of the buildings. The new attention my team got was rather...unorthodox.
Student 1: Look it's Sofia's team. I wonder if I'll get an autograph from their leader.
Student 2: Yeah, I wonder what will happen if I ask one of their members will battle me.
I just look at my team I sighed.
Gabriel: What's wrong, Sofia?
Sofia: I'm just getting used to the new attention. It's not nice being suddenly popular.
Gabriel: What makes you think that we're popular?
I stumble a bit and drop my notebooks. Gabriel motions his hand and the notebook starts to float. It flies up to me and drops in my hand. The other students who saw just stared and some started to whisper. I just look at him and role my eyes.
Sofia: Oh, I don't know. Maybe it's because you started showing your magic and everyone on my team helped take down that mage.
Gabriel: Hey, it wasn't all bad. We are allowed to have the last period off for the whole marking period now.
Sofia: Yeah, I guess, but I really do wish that we could be left alone sometimes.
Gabriel: You're not wrong there.
We continued to do our classes and went to our last class of the day. It wasn't all bad, but we did have to deal with a rather...interesting individual.
A large hammer crushes the floor before his opponent. The fighter is sent back flying into the wall. The hammer person raises his weapon high and starts to mock his opponent.
???: Is that the best you got? Come on! Give me something more challenging!
Gabriel: Who's that?
Ana: You don't know him? He's the school bully.
Gabriel: There's a school bully here?
Gilson: Dude, where have you been? He's notorious for being someone who crushes his opponents and demoralizes them after class.
Gabriel: Please tell me he hasn't done that to you guys.
Destiny: No, not to us. But he has done it to people I know.
Sofia: He has to be stopped.
Everyone: Huh?
Sofia: I won't stand for this. I'm tired of seeing him hurt others. We have to stop him.
Gabriel: I'm in! Anyone else?
Everyone stays quiet and just looks at me.
Gabriel: What?
Ana: Um...he's had his eye on you for some time now...
Destiny: He always spoke out what he would do to his victims..
Gilson: And the things he says he'll do to you two..I don't know if you should fight him right now..
???: I choose to fight Sofia and Gabriel! I want to fight them!
Sofia: Well, can't back down now.
Gabriel: Yeah! It'll be fun!
I walk towards the arena with Gabriel close behind me. The large brute laughs at us as we enter the battle field.
Edward: My name is Edward. It'll be a pleasure defeating you.
Sofia: I'm...well, you should know who I am.
