Chapter 18 - Breakup

The cool breeze gently kissed my skin as I was awoken from my peaceful slumber. Fluttering my eyelids open, the bright sun light blinded me as I blinked repeatedly, trying to gain my sight. Laying in the bed, the sheets were bearly covering my naked body as I layed still in bed. Feeling a tight grip around my body, I turned over to see my beautiful mate laying next to me still asleep.

I couldn't stop myself from tracing my finger along his strong jawline as sparks raced through my body at his touch.

"Morning beautiful" Jackson spoke, his eyes still closed as he smiled.

"Hi" I whispered out, my voice as soft as a feather.

Opening his eyes, I was lost in his beautiful blue ocean as he gripped tighter pulling me closer to him.

"Your so beautiful" he said as he gazed at me with pure love and admiration making me smile.

"Your not so bad yourself handsome" I said back, my voice filled with humour.

"So you think I'm handsome?" A grin formed his stunning face as he let out a chuckle.

Rolling my eyes at his childish behaviour, I attempted to get out of bed only to be dragged back down onto the mattress.

"Jackson I have to shower" I laughed as he snuggled himself against me, trailing kisses along my neck.

"We can shower later, it's only 7.45" he said between kisses as he moved his mouth from my neck and up to my lips.

I allowed him to take control of the kiss as our lips moved in rhythm.
The kiss was passionate and gentle as our tongues invaded each other. Breaking away, I took a deep breath before placing my hand on his cheek, softly rubbing my fingers in circles along his skin.

"Last night was the best night of my life" I whispered as Jackson smiled that perfect smile at me.

"Your the best I ever had" he smirked in an attempt to jealous me which kinda worked.

"Just how many did you have?" I asked in a mocking tone pretending to be jealous. Honestly I was, the thought of my mate with someone who wasn't me made me angry. But that was his past, I was hoping to be his future.

"Oh jeez, I lost count" he joked as he placed his finger at his chin, pretending to be thinking. Two can play at that game.

Pushing his arm from around me, I jumped out of bed, still aware I was naked and walked towards the bathroom.

"Baby I'm kidding" Jackson yelled after me as he jumped out from under the sheets and followed me. I smiled to myself at his boyish actions.

"I have to shower, I'm going shopping today with Kiera and Sophia today" I answered him as I got into the shower and turned on the boiling water. Reaching for the shampoo, I felt a warm hand wrap around my waist as Jackson pressed his body against mine, my back to his bare chest.

"Girls day out, huh?" He smiled against my skin as he kissed my shoulder.

"Yes, which means no boys including you" I mocked as I poured shampoo into my hands to wash my hair.

"That is unless we see some hot guys at the mall" I joked knowing it would make him made.

"NO! Your mine and mine only. If another guy even thinks about looking at you in a way I don't like, I will rip his throat out" Jackson said as he turned me around, pushing me against him. I laughed at his jealousy, it was cute how I could wined him up so much.

"Baby, I'm kidding. Your the only boy for me" I grinned as I placed kisses along his cheek.

"Boy? I'm a man" he pushed me back but his hands still firmly around my body. I chuckled, " your my man".
This made him smile a genuine smile. I was so happy he chose me, which made me wonder what was going to happen now with Ashley.
