Life Turns On a Dime

Chapter seven

I walked into first period, which just so happened to be English and I felt a set of eyes on me. I instinctively started to look around and instantly found who the culprit was. Louis was looking me up and down, obviously approving of my choice of leggings and tighter t-shirt.

"Hello Mr. Tomlinson." I greeted before I went and took my seat.

"Good morning Reenee." He said with a nod before beginning his lecture.

I was lost in what he was saying when I felt paper hit my head. I looked down to the ground to see a note sitting beside me. I pulled in up to instantly recognize Elena's handwriting.

'You and the teacher eh?'

I turned to where she had sitting right behind me and pulled out my phone.

'what do you mean?'

She instantly replied.

'Liam was texting me last night and said Louis had gone to a friends house, and I knew you had a friend over... So?? What happened?'

'Nothing? He came over as a friend and we watched a movie.'

'Alright... I'll believe you for now...'

I looked back to see Elena glaring at me... Dammit... She could always see right through me.

 "Hey Reenee! If you want you can stay in here and study again during you're off period." Louis said to me once everyone else had left and I was just finishing packing up.

"Sure," I said before walking over and shutting the door. I then walked over to him once I saw it was locked and pressed my lips to his. "And thanks for that sweet letter. It was a nice thing to wake up to."

"Does this mean last night was a date?" He questioned me before leaning back against his desk.

"Yes, it is what this means." I said before he grabbed my waist and pulled me into him for another kiss. We were almost in a full out make out session when we heard the door jingle causing me to jump straight back.

"Umm.. Mr. Tomlinson?" said no other then McKinley. "Ohh..." She said obviously noticing me. "Am I interrupting something?"

"No..." Louis responded. "I was just helping Reenee with some Bio." I felt myself blush.

"Okay. Well I was hoping you could help me with this question for that essay you assigned?"

"Sure, how about we get together briefly after school. Then I can finish helping both of you."

"Alright!" She said a bit too ecstatic. She began to leave and Louis followed her to the door and locked it behind her.

"Wow... Alright!" I mocked.

"Just be thankful that wasn't my mother my dear. Then we'd be screwed."

"No, it was just a student who has a huge crush on you..."

"I've never met one of those before now have I?" He joked before coming over to kiss me. "Now I really have to grade and you need to turn and walk to the back on the room."

"Why? My stuffs here?" I asked.

"Please don't tell me you're wearing those leggings for nothing?" He said staring at my outfit.

I got up and started walking. "Oh right, my first thought was to my my ass look great for you." I said full of sarcasm.

"Your chest doesn't look too shabby either." He joked before getting to work. "You should wear beggier clothes or I might get too distracted during class."

"That might be my intentions mister." I joked before settling down and doing some work.

*One month Later*

"Abi. Can you come out here a second?" I yelled looking up nervously at Louis. We were finally going to let Abi in about our relationship because we both needed to tell someone. He had told Liam because, well, they were pretty much brothers, and I was telling Abi because shes more important to me than Elena, which pains me to say but she is my sister.

"What do you want?" Abi asked, she was in her room with her boyfriend and was obviously upset I had called her out.

"I just wanted to tell you something." I said as she came through the doorway into the living room.

"What?" she whined at me. "Oh, hey Louis." His presence didn't surprise her at all, he was over quite a bit.

"Well you know how I told you I wasn't seeing anyone a week ago?"

"You lied..." She simply stated leaving me completely in shock.

"Well, yeah." 

"I know you're dating Louis, it's rather obvious." She stated like I should've guessed. "I mean he's over a lot or you guys are going out. You really suck at hiding it.

"Ohh, okay..." I said. "You can go back to your room then." She ran off and we instantly heard her conversation resume. 

I looked up at Louis who leaned down and pecked my lips. "That went smoothly." He whispered before deepening the kiss.

"I guess it did." I said back onto the couch and straddling him for one of our famous make out sessions, which now could happen with Abi home. 

After a couple minutes I remembered something Liam had said when we told him.

"What." Louis asked instantly sensing I wasn't into it anymore. "Does my breath smell bad or something?"

"No!" I yelled. "Of course not, but what if your mom does find out. You love your job."

"But I need a love life too and she doesn't seem to understand that I'm only 22 and I'm going to be attracted to teenagers."

"Yeah, that's still not legal as well by the way." I said.

"Well I just won't have sex with you then." He said sarcastically. "Anyway, I'm sure she won't find out.

"Fine." I said quickly kissing him one last time before falling to cuddle into his side.

"What's wrond Ren?" He asked me when I let out a sigh.

"I'm just thinking about my mom and how she always told me I'd grow up to break the rules."

"I know you don't like talking about it but can you tell me about your family now?

"Fine..." I said before sitting up and telling him everything from my memories before the crash to the sexual and physical abuse I recieved with my aunt. He sat there and listened the whole time, no judgement in his eyes, only sorrow.

"I'm so sorry..." He said once I was finished. "I don't know what it would be like to grow up like that."

"You don't need to pity me." I said wiping my face with my sleeve.

"I seriously feel no pity for you. I'm actaully questioning how the hell you haven't beaten me up in our play fights."

I laughed and I saw his face instantly light up. "Because you always tickle me, that's not a real fight."

"Have I ever told you how much I love your laugh?" He said randomly/

"No, why?"

"Because even when one of us is feeling like crap your laugh can relieve any of the tension."

"That's the same reason I love talking to you." I blushed. "I can tell you anything and you just crack a joke at the perfect moment."

"Good." His phone started ringing. "Hi Mom? ... Okay, I'll be home in 20. ... Okay. ... Bye." 

"What did she want?" I asked. 

"I don't know. She just called all mad and told me we need to talk about my inappropiate behaviour..." 

We were both thinking the same thing. Had she found out?

Hey guys, so I have a couple questions. Who should I make the bad guy? Mckinley maybe? OR Liam? What would you think? And what if Louis's mom finds out about the relationship??? Please share your thoughts with me!!!!!! It's much appreciated. Also how old is everyone who reads???
