An Ezria tale

ARIA'S P.O.V

"Aria, where are you going?" My dad asked.

I was going out for dinner to a vegan restaurant in Philadelphia with Ezra, my boyfriend of two years today.

"I'm going out with Hanna." I lied. "I will probably stay there the night as well."

My dad looked me up and down and nodded.

"Alright then, go on, get out of here."

I ran out the door without turning back, I was wearing a short red lace dress with black heels. At least it made me look good.

I hopped in the car and started the ignition.

When I got to Ezra's apartment, he was sitting on the lounge wearing a black suit with a red tie. His eyes shone like the moon in the night sky when he saw me. He stood up and walked over to me.

"Wow, you look."

He didn't have any words.

"Is there something wrong with my dress, I knew I should have worn the purple dress!"

Ezra shook his head and walked towards me, he put his arms around my waist and looked into my eyes.

"I said wow because I feel like the luckiest man on earth to have a girlfriend as perfect as you."

I smiled then looked at him.

"Ezra, I love you!"

"Aria, I love you too."

We kissed softly and then he licked my bottom lip. We kissed harder and harder until I pulled away.

"Are we ready to go now?" I asked.

"Of course."

When we got to the restaurant we were greeted by a waitress who guided us to our reserved table. I really did hate lying to my dad but its worth it if I get to see Ezra.

Ezra and I spoke all night, we ate the same meal, drank the same drink and shared an ice cream together.

"How would you feel about me staying over?" I winked.

He raised his eyebrow and put his hand on my knee.

"I wouldn't want anything else." He smiled.

EZRA'S P.O.V

I reached out to my beautiful girlfriends hand who held onto my hand tightly. I payed the bill and we went out to my car.

When we pulled at my apartment she just looked at me all over with genuine affection and love. I copied her. We both stared and laughed with each other.

There was a painful silence when her phone buzzed. She looked down at her phone. Aria looked really scared. I was scared for her.

"Babe, are you alright?"

She started to cry for a minute and wiped her tears away.

"Ezra. I'm fine it's ok. I just remembered Ali and how she was murdered it just makes me a bit scared sometimes."

I leaned over the gear stick and hugged her tightly.

"It's ok, it's ok." I reassured her.

I let her go and she smiled cheekily.

"You know, this is our second anniversary, why not celebrate?"

I knew what she wanted to do and I wanted the same thing but I loved her too much to pressure her, so I played along.
