Jason's/ Alpha's POV

"Welcome, Elite, to our humble abode!"

I groaned inwardly. This place was anything but humble.

"We have word of Chaos that you are here to discuss battle plans. Is that correct?"

"Yes," Omega said coldly. "But make this quick. I have important things to deal with."

I could see Zeus sweating through his shoes. He nodded weakly, and sat on his throne, the other gods following his example.

I looked around. The whole demigod community was here, including Camp Jupiter. I could recognize many of my old friends. Reyna, Gwen, Connor and Travis, even Piper.

Piper.

I felt a knot in my stomach. I was hoping I wouldn't meet her on this mission. She had haunted my thoughts through five hundred years, and I missed her. So much.

Her eyes made contact with mine. I quickly turned away. I wanted to have a glimpse of her beautiful multi-colored eyes, but I couldn't. She would know that it was me under this cloak. She would recognize me.

"We would have to make preparations," Zeus boomed. "We need to be ready when End attacks."

Sky/Thalia scoffed. "You don't know how powerful End is, Lord Zeus," she said mockingly. "Nothing can stop him from attacking Camp Half-Blood."

Zeus glared at her. "How dare you defy my orders! You are not the leader."

Thalia's blue eyes sparked. Her palms crackled with electricity. "You wanna try and test me? I can prove I'm more powerful than you..."

Omega stepped up and put a restraining hand against Thalia.

"Relax, Sky." Her sparks lessened and the smell of smoke dissipated.

Omega turned to Zeus. "You will not test us. We can destroy you and the gods in less than a millisecond. You should feel grateful that we are even helping you."

Zeus and the gods nodded, still staring at Thalia's hand in fear. "We will do whatever you think necessary."

"Good." Omega snapped his fingers. Nine black thrones appeared.

We sat.

Omega looked directly into Zeus's eyes. "You all know nothing about End. You need to know the story."

I leaned in. I didn't know anything about Chaos's brother. The information was classified. Only Chaos knows about End, and apparently, he passed down the secret to Omega.

"Order, the father of End and Chaos, wanted to have a place to rule. He created the universe, shaping every planet, every star, every nebula, every Galaxy. He made each planet unique in its own way. He thought of each planet equally, but he favored only one. Earth."

Annabeth looked annoyed. "Just get to the point already!"

Omega glared at her, his- Do not mess with me or you will die on your grave glare- that made me shiver.

"Order loved Earth dearly, adding a special addition to the planet. He added liquid water, a substance that no other planet has, hoping it would create special beings, called humans, to Earth."

"It worked, but in a very complicated way. Gaea, the Spiritual being of Earth, was created with Earth, and so was Ouranos, the lord of the sky."

"Gaia! She's evil! She tried to destroy the world five hundred years ago!" Yelled Connor Stoll.

"Do not interrupt me," said Omega. "I'm trying to tell a very entertaining and important story."

"Before I was so rudely interrupted," Omega said, glaring pointedly at Connor, "Gaia was created with the Earth. She wished for a lover, and Order, hearing her cries, created Ouranos, the Lord of the Sky. They had children, their children had children, the children of their children had children, so on, so on. And this is where you ended up today. With ignorant gods, and even more ignorant demigods."

"Hey!"

Omega shrugged.

"What does End have to do with this story?"

"I wasn't finished yet." Omega said.

"Well, finish then!"

Omega sighed. "Everybody here has no brain," he muttered. I silently chuckled.

"Order was growing old. He was going to die soon, and the universe would be without a ruler. He met a woman, and had two children. One boy, one girl."

"Wait, hold up. Chaos is male, and I'm guessing End is a guy, too. Who was the girl?" asked Will.

"If you would listen, you would know. Now shut up."

"The girl," Omega said, looking at Will pointedly, "was Chaos. Chaos's first form was as a woman, but more people began to picture Chaos as a man, so he turned into one to stop the confusion. Chaos became the primordial of Good. End was the boy. He became the primordial of Evil."

"Oh..."

"Yes, oh..." Omega mocked. "When Order was close to his end, he passed down the kingship to Chaos and End, both. The bad thing about this decision was that Chaos and End fought all the time. Chaos wanted to build, End wanted to destroy. Chaos was the Day, End was the Night. They were complete opposites, like, well, Good and Evil. It wasn't a surprise when End wanted to rule the universe by himself. Chaos disagreed and they had a huge war about it. The primordials supported Chaos and banished End into the Shadow Hole, a place where the most evil beings in the universe are put in. We believe that since the day Chaos has banished home, End has been biding his time, improving his powers, and getting ready to strip Chaos of his power. He will destroy us all."

Heavy silence followed the last few words.

"Why should we believe you?" Annabeth shouted. "You could be spies!" The gods looked at Annabeth in horror.

Omega growled. "You don't know what we've been through, girl. I have seen bloodshed at every corner, and have felt such pain and sadness that you couldn't begin to describe. I rid the universe of every evil imaginable, and without me, the universe would be in chaos. I have killed and assassinated the most evil villains throughout the universe. I have seen young girls get raped, so many innocent people killed, wars everywhere." He said the words with so much venom, that I wanted so badly to crawl up into a ball and die.

He walked slowly towards Annabeth. Slow, agonizing steps across the marble floor, his shoes thumping. He leaned forward, his cloaked head only a few inches away from Annabeth's terrified gray eyes.

"Without me, you stand no chance against End," he whispered.

He left.
