3 weeks passed and the baby was getting stronger and stronger, making progress every day.
Katy had recovered from the birth really well and was able to do things for herself again.
Cheryl stayed with her every day and night, she couldn't bare to leave her, even though she was still cold with her.
"I'm stuck between Amelya and Emrys." Katy said, sighing.
"Amelya means strong and hopeful, but Emrys means immortal." She added.
"I like Amelya." Cheryl replied, looking up from her phone.
"Amelya it is then." Katy said, smiling.
"You don't have to choose that name just because I like it." Cheryl said, firmly but quietly.
"I know I don't have to. But I want to." Katy replied.
Cheryl let a faint smile.
The doctor walked in and Katy quickly stood up.
"You should still be resting." Cheryl said, bluntly.
Katy sat back down as the doctor nodded at her.
"Your baby is ready to be held." He said, smiling slightly.
Katy beamed at him.
"Really?" She asked, cheerily.
"Yes, right this way." He said, as Katy and Cheryl followed him.
Katy sat down and positioned herself for her baby to be placed in her arms.
The doctor gently placed the baby in Katy's arms.
Tears rolled down her face, she beamed at Cheryl, who was smiling back - half heartedly.
"I'll take a picture." Cheryl said, softly.
"No, you get in it too." Katy replied.
"No it's fine I have to take it I-" Cheryl began.
The doctor smiled.
"I'll do the honour." He said, holding his hand out for Cheryl to give him her phone.
Cheryl positioned herself next to Katy smiling at her as Katy smiled at the baby.
He took the picture and gave the phone back to Cheryl.
She felt a tear roll down her cheek.
"It's lovely." She whispered.
"Let me see?" Katy asked.
Cheryl showed Katy the picture.
They smiled at eachother.
"Amelya." Katy cooed, looking down at her tiny daughter, as she scrunched up her nose and yawned.
Cheryl giggled.
"It does suit her, I must say." She said, softly.

"I know, I think so too." Katy replied.

"I know this is probably the last thing you want to hear, but the press is going wild. I just thought you should know..." Cheryl explained.

Katy rolled her eyes.

"They would be." She said.

"Give them what they want, the picture." She added.

Cheryl frowned.

"Are you sure?" She asked, uncertain.

"Yes. Tweet it." Katy said.

Cheryl opened up twitter.

"What should I caption it as?" She asked.

Katy pouted as she thought.

"Just put '@katyperry' with a heart or something, they can make whatever they want out of that. That's their bate for now." She said.

Cheryl tweeted exactly that and watched twitter go crazy and her mentions filled with frantic fans wanting to know everything.

She locked her phone and smiled warmly at Katy. The first meaningful smile she had done in a long time.

"She's really beautiful." Cheryl said.

"Our miracle baby." Katy replied.

Cheryl looked away subtly.

"Our baby?" She asked.

"Well, I didn't know what to say I mean-" Katy began but was cut off by Cheryl.

"It's fine." Cheryl said.

"But she's not ours. She's yours." She added.
