In the classroom.English lesson.Xiumin's POV.

The class are dismissed for our next lesson.I beamed a smile of the thought of Valentine's Day.Valentine's Day is coming next week.I was really excited.I still remembered the presents I received from tons of students;mainly girls.They would give me steamed buns,chocolates and sweets.By the thought of Valentine's Day,I've never gave a girl chocolates.Even the rest of EXO members wouldn't give chocolates to anyone.I wondered if they would give chocolates to someone this year.I have a feeling that some of them would give chocolates to Yoorim since she's our classmate or probably some of them have a crush on Yoorim.Just then,someone stood infront of me when I was in the midst of thinking.I looked up to her and saw her angelic face,Yoorim.She beamed a smile at me as soon as I looked at her.I instantly snapped out of my wonderland and got back to reality.I cleared my throat and lean back on my chair.

"C-can I h-help you?"I stuttered.I was totally damn nervous infront of her.

"Can I sit here?I feel lonely sitting alone in the front.Besides,Mr Kim encouraged the class to sit with someone they aren't close with to create a better relationship with each other."Her words made me blushed.I instantly replied a "Yes" to prevent her from seeing me blushing.'Xiumin,why are you being like this?Act natural infront of her.'Yoorim jumped in joy and sat beside me.Honestly,we weren't close with each other and this is totally the first time I'm talking to her.The truth is,I admire Yoorim.Not only because she's pretty but because of her nice personality.I never told anyone about this because I would feel embarrased.

There were awkward silence between the both of us.I,as a man,should be brave so I mustered up the courage to speak to her.

"Valentine's Day is coming.Who are you gonna give your chocolates to?"Yoorim faced me and was in deep thought after hearing my sudden question.

"I'm thinking of giving to all of you."She answered.

"If you were to pick one,who would you give to?"I asked again.I'm totally such a bad person.I made Yoorim depressed because of my questions.Again,she was in deep thought.

"Ughh!I don't know."She got frustrated.I made her frustrated.'Why am I so bad?'All of sudden,Mr Kim,our English teacher arrived in class.The class bowed and greeted Mr Kim.Afterwards,Mr Kim started the lesson by marking our attendance and collecting our assignments.

Throughout the lessons,I lost concentration.I couldn't focus since Yoorim was beside me.My heart was thumping as fast as lightning.

"Xiumin,are you okay?"Yoorim questioned me out of the blue.'Was it obvious that I wasn't focusing in class?'I looked at her and started stammering.

"Huh?O-ouh.I'm o-okay."I gave a fake smile.

"Are you sure?And why are you stammering?Hehehe!I find it cute though."Yoorim giggled as she whispered to me.I could feel my cheeks burning.I couldn't help it but chuckled over her compliment.

"Yoorim and Xiumin!No talking during class.Out of the classroom now!"Mr Kim scolded and slammed his ruler on the teacher's desk.All eyes were on me and Yoorim.Both of us stood up and walked out of the classroom.When someone talks in class during Mr Kim's lessons,they're always sent out of the classroom.I realised that Yoorim was punished too because of me.

"Yoorim,I'm sorry.If you didn't talk to me in the first place,you wouldn't have to be sent out of the classroom."

"Its okay Xiumin.Why would I be angry at you over a punishment like this?Let's just treat this as our bonding session."With her assuring words,I became more calm.I couldn't believe I'm having a bonding session with an "angel."

After school.Your POV.

I walked out of the classroom after lessons had ended.I walked slowly to the school field to sit on the bleachers.It was my second favourite place in school.My first favourite place is the school park.I remembered the time when I first sat at the wooden bench with Kai while reading a book.Kai sure was mischievious but as time passed by,he became more open to me.He is a really nice guy.When Eomma was at the hospital,I was left alone at home but thanks to Kai,I got someone by my side;him.'Wait,why am I remembering the memories I had with Kai?I thought I hated him because he's a cold bully.'I immediately stopped thinking about Kai.My phone rang which made me jumped up from my seat.It was a phone call from Chanyeol.I remembered that Chanyeol and I are going to hang out with each other after school.I bit my lower lip,afraid that Chanyeol would be mad.With an uneasy feeling,I answered the phone call.

"Ne.."

"Where in the world are you?I've been waiting for you outside the school gate."

"Mianhae Chanyeol,I'm on my way there.Wait a little bit more."I ended the call immediately and ran to the school gate.I couldn't believe I actually forgot my best friend.

After meeting up with Chanyeol outside the school gate,we walked around the neighbourhood.Its been a long time since Chanyeol and I could hang out like this.The childhood memories we had flashbacked in my mind.The time when Chanyeol and I first met,was unforgettable.

Flashback

"Ringg!"

It was break time or also known as play time.Kids ran out of the door to the playground.I was always the last one to exit the classroom because I had no company.I was a loner;I had no friends.Not because kids hated me but because I couldn't talk to them.I was rather shy and quiet.Some kids did talk to me but I could only reply them with a nod or in short answers.They probably find me boring to talk to.So yeah,I'm always staying like loner.

"Achk!"I screamed as I falled to the ground.I looked up to find a boy,reaching out his hand to me.I grabbed his hand and stood up.

"Are you okay?Sorry,I didn't see you.Anyways,my name is Chanyeol."He reached out his hand as soon as he introduced himself.Chanyeol was taller than me and looked like an elf.I held his hand and introduce myself.

"I'm Yoorim."

"Nice to meet you.Let's be friends!"He roughly shook my hand.I grinned of the thought that he said he wanted to be friends with me.I nodded in return and became friends with him too.Now that we're officially friends,we played,eat and hang out with each other.He was always sitting beside me in class.Not to mention he sleeps alot during lessons.As time passed by,we became best friends.We were always there for each other.He told me that we will forever be best friends and I hoped we will.

End of flashback

In the midst of those childhood memories,an ice cream was right infront of my eyes.I looked up to find Chanyeol with his usual smile plastered on his face.I accepted the ice cream and licked it.

"ChocoMint flavoured!You still remembered my favourite ice cream.Gomawo Chanyeol."

"Your welcome.Of course I remember my best friend's favourite ice cream.I'm not that old."Chanyeol bragged.I gazed at him a plain stare.Soon,silence surrounded the both of us.

"You better give me chocolates for Valentine's Day.If not,I'll throw you in the river."Chanyeol threatened me with his so-called "threatening" method.I rolled my eyes at him and carried on licking my ice cream.
