The Emerald Refuge

Untitled Part 1

The world revolves around various things. Good and Evil. Light and Darkness. Everything stays balanced. Unfortunately, things weren't always this way. I'm going to tell you a story. It might take a while, so grab some popcorn and take a seat.

It all began many centuries ago in a place called 'The Emerald Refuge'. An island surrounded by smaller islands, this was a place of hope, a place of good, but that all stopped when a goo like creature began to roam all over the island, it was created by the same people there, by their jealousy, anger, and impure thoughts, "It" was pure darkness and evil. Soon people started disappearing, and before you knew it half of the population was gone. It was a great tragedy, the remaining people felt sorrow, grief, and mostly pain. Then it struck again, taking the souls of the remaining people with it. It locked up all the souls in a dark and old cave."It" wanted to be able to fill people with fear and anxiety. It took the shape of a man, but that wasn't enough. He wanted more. It wanted an army. It put mud and fire together to make a stone army, this was just the start. It's plan was to conquer the whole world but luckily the Emerald Refuge was so protected no evil could enter it or exit, it was impossible, the island was protected by a barrier.

While The Emerald Refuge was being invaded by darkness there was still hope in another place a little place not as good as the Emerald Refuge was, but also not as bad as it is now, that place is called Elemental Valley. The place where the elementals heroes were first and last seen. They were never found nor seen by a human again. There was a boy his name was Jack who didn't have any powers. Even though he didn't have powers he was still very brave, curious, and he always fought for what he thought was wrong even if he didn't stand a chance. Whenever he got knocked down he always got back up inspired by his idle Captain Emerald, the mightiest of them all, he also didn't have powers but that didn't stop him from becoming the best hero in history he could defeat a whole army with just an emerald shield. He didnt work alone the elemental masters would help him in battle.

There were 5 in total Captain Emerald, Fire Falcon, Profesor Strong, Water Man, and Quick. Fire Falcon was given the ability to fly, control and create fire in any way. He was very powerful and strong just as the rest. Most of his story is unknown.

Profesor strong was a man of science who liked experimenting and helping others, he was given the power to carry rocks and move mountains he got these powers because of an experiment gone wrong he wanted to help people by inventing a machine to reduce the damage done by earthquakes whenever there was an earthquake this invention was supposed to balance houses so no destruction would be done but it did the opposite and made his whole laboratory fall on him fluids got into his cuts along with some rare minerals, no one went looking for him except for a guy named Ed.

Next is Water Man, people never liked him they tought he was weird and dumb, one day he was bullied and was chaced until they reached a dock one wood planks was old and frail, he fell straight trhough and sinked to the bottom of the sea, left to die, the kids were afraid to tell the truth and said he was kidnapped and never seen again his parents were so sad that they cried until their death, they died in a car accident then a few day days later the boy was found floatinng under the dock where he first fell, he cameback alive because of an old man who gave a neckaless he said that it was the heart of the sea, it was that what gave him water powers, he promised himself he would use it for good. That old man's name was Ed

Last but not least is Quick, people named him Quick because of his speed. He could run faster than light. Not only that but he could regenerate faster than any human. He was born with his powers, at school he was always the weird kid, never chosen for anything. His parents didn't even want him but a man named Ed adopted him.
