Dear PopPop in Heaven,
PopPop I'm scared.
Everyone keeps talking about
how I have "Cancer". What's "Cancer"?
It must be something scary because
whenever it's said Mommy starts
crying, the doctor looks really
said, and Daddy looks like he's trying
not to cry. I don't know what it is,
all I know is, I've been feeling
really tired, and when Mommy lifted
up my shirt, to help me get ready
for school; she had this really scared look
on her face when she saw my back.
Maybe I'm growing spikes out of my
back like a DRAGON! Wouldn't that
be scary! My back kinda does feel
like its growing spikes because it hurts
a lot. If I turn into a dragon I
can beat up this "Cancer" so my Mommy
won't cry anymore. You'll help me too,
right Grandpa? Goodnight ,sleep tight,
don't let the bedbugs bite!
I love you "this big" Grandpa!
