Bitching.
Everyone does it, no one can deny the fact that they do, it's a girls common nature to do it. But the thing is, bitching is just talking. Like, " she's too fat " or " she's too skinny ".
But back stabbing is another thing. Back stabbing is when you've got to slay a bitch. You get?
But when she said I'd have to slay her I didn't think she meant it literally...12 days earlier
Ah, society, such a bitch.
I could see them sniggering at me out of the corner of my eye, beautiful species one blonde, ravens black, even a red head. Unique in different ways, when I mean unique, I mean they have different ways to gossip. The slightly curly blonde was Lexi, the curly red head was Thea and the straight ravens black was Penn, the Alfa of the pack. Just cause I listen to heavy metal and wear black clothes gives me the label " goth " or " emo " even " punk".
Society really needs to move on and get over it's self. The next day.
" We're here. " she announced flicking her hair sexually behind her head.
Ugh. Penn. She waltz in with her pack making an entrance, trotting to the back of the English class room, whilst passing me she nocked my books off my desk so they would fall on the floor. They fell with a smack, everyone turned to look at me. Penn just stared and grinned.
"whoops?"she said like she was unsure of what she did.
Yeah, okay whoops I guess. As I lent down to collect my books, a foot wearing 5 inch heals kicked my books across the floor, all the way to the front. Pages went flying. Lexi.
"My bad." she said cheerful as if she just won the lottery.
I winced. As I slid out of my chair to grab my pages and notes, is when a strange shadow overcame me. Looked up. A handsome boy stood above me. Green eyes, dark black, shiny hair, he was wearing a tight black shirt that clung to his torso, making him look structured. He was beautiful. My green eyes were darker than his, but his were so vibrant, you could probably see them in the dark!
"Need some help?" he said smiling.
"Um. Yes. Um. Ple- " half way through my sentence a boy in my class said,
"Hey man, don't help that EMO!" He turned to the boy shouting at him, but was directing the comment at me. He tilted his head slightly.
"Sorry did I give you permission to speak to me?" He said in a smooth tone. The boy shut up.
He held out a hand.
"Hey, I'm Finn. You are?"
"I'm. Um. Alison. My friend's call me Ali." I stuttered as I stumbled to my feet. (It was a bit hard wearing tight black skinny jeans.)
"If you had any friends!" Lexi called from the back of the room.
Me and Finn turned in sync to look at the back of the room. Penn and Lexi howled in laughter. Thea didn't really look in the mood to laugh at their petty jokes, she looked totally unamused. And at that she grunted, Penn shot her a look, no more like a death stare.
"Don't worry, low lives like them thrive off the happiness of beautiful girls like yourself," Finn said with a half smile.
Penn and Lexi stopped laughing and their smiles dropped. They turned to the front. Penn narrowed her eyes down on Finn. I tried not to smile, but I couldn't hide it. I brushed my dark hair behind my ear, looking down at the floor so he couldn't see me blushing.
"Now everyone, take your seats" Miss Waters said as she walked through the door.
"Shall we?" Finn said, holding an arm out to the desks. There was a free seat next to me, but also one next to Lexi at the back.
"Um. okay. We shall," I replied uneasy.
As I made my way to my seat and sat down, Finn slid into the one next to me. Bullseye.
"Who would want to sit next to that freak. That EMO!" Penn said loudly like she was shouting at me.
Finn turned to the side so he was facing me, I looked at him, my belly flew with butterflies. His eyes were shining like diamonds, it was almost like I was in a trance. They were full of colour, but then they faded, that sparkle was over come with a dark shadow. He twisted all the way so he was facing the back, I did the same.
"You girls are pretty," Finn said with no emotion whatsoever.
I felt deflated. Why did I think a hot guy like that would go after me?
"Yeah we know," Lexi said whilst crossing her long legs and flicking her hair back.
"A little too much," Thea mumbled.
Penn shot her a look. Thea shifted in her seat.
"But it's such a shame," Finn said looking down and shaking his head in disappointment.
"Yeah it is a shame no one is as pretty as us," Penn purred whilst smiling. She was being playful.
"It's such a shame you girls are so pretty, but that pretty face doesn't match that ugly heart." He said smiling he turned his head to me. I smiled. We twisted back round. I stuffed my face in my book trying not to let him see me smile, he leaned over and whispered
"For the record, I think you're a million times prettier than them."
And that was the best English class I ever had.Chapter 2
As I was walking home on my usual path, I realised that I forgot my English book. I couldn't go back now it was to far, over 20 minutes away, I'd just have to stay on the muddy path and tomorrow I would have to get it.
Suddenly out of nowhere I herd footsteps running towards me. I spun round to see who it was, it was Finn. I smiled and waved in the cutest way I could, I pulled out my blasting earphones. He was holding my English book he shouted:
" You owe me for this! " he said gasping for breath as he came to a holt.
He stopped in front of me, putting his hands on his knees gasping for breath. As he was bent over there was a tattoo on the back of his neck, they were angel wings. He then looked up at me, grinning as he said :
" I ran a long time with a ugly English book, for a beautiful girl you know. "
He stood up properly, he was very close to me, almost like we were touching.
" Here " he said, pushing the English book softly on top of my stomach. We were staring into each other's eyes, his were shiny he looked eager to tell me something. As we stared, we didn't even blink. But I still didn't understand why would he like me, what's so special about me?
" Can I escort you home? " he said with a half smile still staring, I broke it by looking away.
" Sure " I said as a wave of butterflies broke in my stomach. We walked on the path. Side by side, our arms touching.
" So is this you're usual path home? " Finn asked.
" Well yes usually- " I wasn't finished when he cut me off to say.
" Do you realise how beautiful you are. I can't stand how those slags treat you. You are amazing and, and- " I cut him off.
" Sorry, but why are you saying this? " I quizzed.
he put his head down in shame.
" I just...think you're special." he squinted his eyes and smiled. Then stopped me.
He turned me with his hands so I was facing him, I put my head down staring at my feet. It felt weird yet wonderful the feeling of his touch.
" You're judged on who you are, is that fair? " He said raising a skeptic eyebrow.
" I dunno... " I mumbled, trying not to meet his gaze.
" Alright. " He said putting his hands in the air like a surrender, whilst walking in the opposite way from my house, I lifted my head.
" What are you doing? " I asked, totally and utterly confused. He didn't stop when he talked. He kept his back to me as he spoke.
" I'm gonna walk all the way back until you say, " I Ali," he stopped, waiting for me to say my last name.
" Oh. Um. Walker. " I stumbled.
" I Ali Walker, will admit to the crimes I have portrayed, by saying I'm not beautiful! "
He said twisting into a Spanish dance ending, one arm high, one arm low. When he lifted his arms, his top rose, revealing his skin, and showing his toned torso.
I grinned widely.
" You're crazy! " I said throwing my arms in the air.
"And you don't know me" I said rather rudely.
