"She didn't need to understand the meaning of life.

It was enough to find someone who did,

And then fall asleep in his arms and sleep as a child sleeps, knowing that someone stronger than you is protecting you from all evil and all danger."

Liam's P.O.V.

The weather seemed a bit chilly when I woke up but the warmth from Alya's body right next to me, made me feel cozy. Grabbing the phone from the bedside table, I checked the time and there were still a few minutes to go before my alarm would go off. I immediately put it off so that it would not disturb Alya's sleep.

I then watched my girl, her right arm and right leg wrapped around my body and the side of her head was resting half on my shoulder and half on the bed, giving me the full view of her beautiful face. A smile instantly spread across my face, seeing my babe sleeping so peacefully. Her expressions seemed calm and her lips were slightly apart since she was habitual of sleeping open-mouthed.

Gingerly, I moved towards my left, trying my best not to wake her up. As I shifted a little more, she let out a groan, tightening her grip around my waist and lower body, and scooted closer, resting the side of her face on my chest. She's in no mood to get up today.

Sighing in defeat, I shook my head, feeling amused by her behaviour. She always behaves like this stubborn little kid who doesn't want to get up for school in the morning.

"Princess," I said, resting my right hand on her upper back and she just hummed in response. "It's eight-thirty," I spoke into her hair, placing a kiss on her head and started caressing her back.

"Ok." She mumbled against the skin of my chest, her eyes were still shut and she kept lying in the same position.

"Don't you have your rehearsals today?" I inquired in a tender voice.

"Ten am." Her short reply was a hint for me to be quiet.

I didn't say a word for another couple of minutes and continued caressing her back under the duvet before Alya's drowsy voice broke the silence. "What time do you have to leave?"

Glancing down at her, I spoke up. "Whenever you want me to."

Looking at me, she rested her chin on my chest. "No jokes so early in the morning please," She was then trying hard to keep her eyes open.

"I'm being serious, sweetheart," I told her, passing her a smile.

"It's settled then." She spoke in a sleepy voice and rested her head back on my chest before continuing, "Neither of us is getting out of the bed today."

"Simon will kill me," I said, letting out a chuckle. "He's coming to the studio today," I told her, wrapping both of my arms around her back and gave a gentle squeeze to her body in my embrace.
