18 years ago the Galaxy was set to be in peace once more. 18 years ago, there were children born to a virgin mother. Children born from life and force. The two children unknowing the importance of their family lineage.

One boy, one girl. Destined to be twins that would lead the Galaxy in freedom of dictators and rulers who used the dark side. Finally, the two of them being alive would keep the Galaxy in the right side of the force.

The boy, Kai. The girl, Anni. The two were beautiful children, that no one had ever really seen. They were hidden, until the day they turned 18.

Anni sat in the workshop. She was working carefully on trying to repair a Droid she had found in the dessert. A tiny Droid used for accessing people using force users abilities. The Droid about half the size of BB-8, but it was able to do so much.

Anni sat there, using BB-8's lighter to try and reconnect a wire in the little Droid. She flinched as sparks flew everywhere. She sighed and set down the tool and nudged BB-8 to get rid of the lighter.

She heard footsteps and turned to see her brother walking in with a note. One that he had found in his bedroom.

This was the day before their 18th birthday. The day before their destiny was supposed to be starting. Though, the two of them had no clue what that could mean.

Kai stood there, tall, wide, and strong. He was powerful, but sweet. The kindest man Anni had ever believed could exist.

He shook his head as he looked down at the note. His gentle blue eyes moving up to look at his sister. Sitting on the ground over the small work table. "I'm unsure of what this means. It's in a language I can't read." He said before walking over and handing Anni the note.

She looked down at it and chuckled to herself. "You can't read it?" She asked, she could see the words clear as day. She heard him huff from behind him.

"Sometimes the force isn't on my side." He joked before sitting on his pillow on the ground. They both worked on droids and other objects together.

Anni shook her head before starting to read the letter out loud.

Children. Your legacy is about to begin. A wandering trader has something you both need. Something that will help you in your future endeavors.

The force will guide you on what to do. Be careful.

Anni looked up at her brother and sighed. "A what?" She turned the note around to see instructions, but she couldn't read them. Something was blocking her from seeing them before it was time.

Anni got up quickly as BB-8 beeped. Saying something about their mother waiting for them for dinner. She sighed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Kai, how are we gonna find a wandering trader?"

Kai shrugged and got up. He brushed off his dark brown pants and walked to her. "Let's get back home before mother has a fit." Kai said, not answering her question. The two walked out before taking a small walk back to their home.

Tatooine was a very lonely planet. There were only a few people left on the planet along with their mother.

Rey smiled as the two walked into the building. Setting down their outerwear on a bench in a living area. The two walked to the table as Rey poured milk into the cups on the table.

"You two were gone long." Rey said before sitting down across from the two. She watched as they nervously dug into their food. Not knowing what to think of the mysterious letter.

Anni was small, but tough. She was small in demeanor but her eyes showed the passion that flowered through her vains. Her very dark brown here was only half up and down. A gentle braid laying on her hair. Her baby hairs gently framing her face. Sweat on her forehead and a little dirt on her cheeks. Almost covering the soft freckles that were scattered along her face. On the right cheek, she had a lone mole. Small, but noticable.

Kai is as very different from Anni. He was broad and strong. Though, his eyes showed more compassion than anything. He had a longer face, very similar to his father's. Though, only Rey knew that. His hair was dark as well, flowing gently. It was around the same length as his father's. His hair was mostly pulled back, as he was sweaty as well. The warm tatooine weather taking much out of their energy.

Rey smiled at the two, she could see herself within them both, as well as their ancestors.

But the two didn't know. They didn't know their last name or what it meant. They believed their father had been killed by a raider soon after Rey had gotten pregnant. They only knew about the force from their mothers teachings. They had been sheltered their whole lives from the truth. But, that would soon end.

Kai spoke up, "Anni was working on that stupid Droid she's so worried about."

Anni hit his arm hard, making him cough and almost choke. "The Droid isn't stupid. It's a special one, not like those I've seen before." She turned to her mother who was still smiling.

"Well, once you two are done with dinner I want you both to bed. Tomorrow is a big day." She told them. "And I'll have a surprise for you both once the sun's rise."

The rest of dinner was quiet, just a bit of banter between Anni and Kai. The two went to sleep in their separate small rooms until the sun's rose and light came seeping through their windows. They both woke up before their mother, and the both of them felt a pull. They stepped out of their rooms and turned to each other.

"Wandering trader?" Kai asked, before the two went to walk outside. There it was. A very dark figure walking towards their hut. Anni watched as the trader reached their hut.

"I have been asked," the male trader started, "by someone, that I give you something. But, it comes with a price." He started, they were unable to see his face. The long dark cloak covering their body. A hood over the travellers face.

"What will it cost?" Anni asked and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Something important. Something of emotional significance that you must let go of." He said before reaching into his pouch. "Do you know what that is?" He asked.

Kai turned to Anni before looking at the trader. Something left at this hut, they both knew what it was. Something their mother had taken from their father before his death. Kai left as Anni waited. He came back with a small necklace. Something they had been caring for for a long time.

The trader put out his gloved hand and let Kai drop it into his hand. The man snickered. "Exactly what I wanted." The trader said before putting the necklace away and reaching into his bag. He pulled out two small crystals. Two different colors.

Anni's breath hitched as one was dropped in each of their hands. "Kyber Crystals." She muttered and put her hand around it. Energy flowed through her.

The trader watched closely. "You know what to do with these." He said before turning around. Suddenly, the trader disappeared into the wind. Flowing like sand.

The two turned to each other, their breathing heavy. How did the trader even get these? And... Why did he need the necklace?

The two were startled by Rey calling them in. They both put the crystals in their pockets before going back into the home to meet their mother.
