Your POV

After supper, Snape came into the common room telling us about the new curfew.
"Could I have your attention please? Because of recent events, these new rules will be put into effect immediately. "All students will return to their house common rooms by six o'clock every evening. All students will be escorted to each lesson by a teacher. No exceptions." I should tell you this: unless the culprit behind these attacks is caught, it is likely the school will be closed," some students groaned in frustration, but Snape shushed everyone immediately. He looked to me, giving me the look he usually gives me when he suspects I'm up to something then he does something he never usually does. He winked at me!
I let that bypass as he exited the common room.

I left the common room and went to my suit. I changed out of my robes and into something more comfortable. I checked to make sure no one was in the common room before sneaking out. I headed up the stairs and I started to call for Ron and Harry because I knew they were in the invisibility cloak. After about a couple calls, Ron and Harry's heads peaked out from the invisibility cloak.
"Come on then," Ron called to me. I quickly ran under the cloak as Harry put let the cloak down and cover the three of us.

We cautiously walked in unison out of the castle and towards Hagrid's Hut. Once we got to the door step, the three of us knocked on the door. Fang barked a few times before Hagrid opened the door, pointing a crossbow.
" Who's there? Hello? Hello?" came his voice. Harry threw the cloak off of our heads.
"What's that for?" Harry asked. "Yeah," I remarked as Hagrid lowered his crossbow. ""Oh, nothing. I- I was expecting, ah... It doesn't matter- come on in I just made a pot o' tea,"
We entered the hut and took seats at his table. Hagrid overfilled the teacup, making the tea spill out the top.
"Hagrid, are you alright?" I asked.
" I'm fine! I'm alright," Hagrid replied briskly.
" Did you hear about Hermione?" Harry asked.
"Oh, yeah. I heard about that, all righ'," Hagrid replied glumly.
" Look, we have to ask you something. Do you know who's opened the Chamber of Secrets?" Harry asked.
"What you had to understand about that is—" Hagrid was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Quick under the cloak. Don't say a word. Be quiet, both o' you..."

Harry threw the cloak back over us. Hagrid answered the door. Dumbledore, the minister, and another man was there.
" Professor Dumbledore, sir!" Hagrid greeted.
"Good evening, Hagrid. I wonder, could we...?" asked Dumbledore.
"Of course! Come in! Come in," Hagrid replied, welcoming Dumbledore and the minister.
"That's Dad's boss! Cornelius Fudge, Minister of Magic!" Ron whispered to Harry as he pointed out the elderly man next to Dumbledore.
"Bad business, Hagrid. Very bad business. Had to come-- three attacks on Muggle-borns. Things have gone far enough. The Ministry's got to act," Fudge said to Hagrid.
"Oh, but I never- you know I never, Professor!" Hagrid turned to Dumbledore desperately.
"I want it understood, Cornelius, that Hagrid has my full confidence," Dumbledore said to Fudge.
"Albus look, Hagrid's record is against him. I've got to take him," Fudge pressed on.
Oh no, Fudge is gonna take Hagrid to-
"Take me? Take me where? Not Azkaban Prison?" Hagrid pleaded.
" I'm afraid we have no choice, Hagrid," Fudge replied. Just then someone else entered the hut. I couldn't really make out the figure, except a mop of blonde hair.
" Already here, Fudge? Good..."
That's when I recognized the voice. Lucius Malfoy...
"What're you doin' here? Get outta my house!" Hagrid hissed.
"Believe me, I take absolutely no pleasure being inside your-- you call this a house?" Lucius hissed as he looked around the hut. I wanted to punch hit guts.
"Huh! No. I simply called at the school, and was told the headmaster was here," Lucius explained.
"Well, what exactly is it that you want with me?" Dumbledore asked politely.
"The other governors and I have decided it's time for you to step aside. This is an order of suspension. You'll find all twelve signatures on it. I'm afraid we feel you've rather lost your touch. Well, what, with all these attacks, there'll be no Muggle-borns left at Hogwarts. I can only imagine what an awful loss that would be to the school,
My jaw dropped. Why would they---
"Yeh can' take Professor Dumbledore away. Take him away, an' the Muggle-borns won' stand a chance! You mark my words, there'll be killin's next!" Hagrid exclaimed.
"You think so?" Lucius asked, giving Hagrid a strange look.
"Calm yourself, Hagrid. If the governors desire my removal, I will, of course, step aside. However, you will find that help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it," Dumbledore said calmly.
"Admirable sentiments. Shall we? Fudge!" Lucius said to the minister.
"Come, Hagrid..."
Hagrid didn't move. "Well?" Fudge pressed.
"Ahem! If, uh, if anybody was looking for some stuff, then all they'd have to do would be to follow the spiders. Yup! That would lead them right! That's all I have to say. Oh, and someone'll need to feed Fang while I'm away." Hagrid said as he turned to leave the hut.
Fang growled at the minister.
"Good boy," Fudge said cautiously. Harry threw the cloak off of us.
"Hagrid's right! With Dumbledore gone, there'll be an attack a day!" I exclaimed.
Something had caught Harry's eye. Spiders were climbing from the floor, onto to windows and out of the shutters.
"Look! Well, come on," Harry exclaimed, pointing to the spiders. "Come on, Fang!" I called to the mastif. He followed us out the door. I felt uneasy about this, but I felt as if we had to do what Hagrid said in order to unravel the secret of the chamber.
