A/N: I decided to try writing another story bc its Christmas break so I don't have anything to do for 3 weeks!! Yep, 3 weeks of vacation! My little sis only has 2 so I get to shove it in her face that I have another week of freedom. Ha! Anyways, I don't know how good this story is going to be so this is just a short intro chapter- enjoy!

Marinette's POV

I woke up to the sound of Tikki who hovered right in front of my nose. "Maaaaarinette!!!"

"I don't wanna get up." I rolled to the other side of the bed away from Tikki.

Tikki flew around to face me again. "Marinette, you have to! Look at the time!"

I glanced at my alarm clock. "Crap." It was 7:45. My tired brain took a moment to let that information fully sink in. "It's 7:45!!!!!" I shrieked as I jolted up and hopped out of bed. Tikki picked out an outfit from my closet and I threw the clothes on. My footsteps were loud as I rushed down the stairs and ran out the door in a hurry.

"Bye, Mama! Bye, Papa!" I called over my shoulder as I left the house with my backpack draped over one shoulder and a warm, flaky croissant in hand.

My parents gave an exasperated sigh and a small wave.

I closed the bakery door and ran towards the school when I suddenly realized I'd forgotten my signature ponytails. I had always wanted to try a new style with my hair, but I didn't like changing things up. There was something nice about playing it safe. I guess this was a good excuse to try my hair down for once.

At last, I reached the front steps of the school. I ran up the stairs and towards my first class of the day.

"Sorry, Miss Bustier!" I ran into the classroom with a red face. You'd think being Ladybug would mean I was in better shape, but I still got really tired whenever I ran to school (which is really often. I'm late a lot!).

My teacher sighed. She was used to me being late by now and she didn't even bother giving me detention anymore. "Just sit down Marinette. And try not to be late tomorrow..."

I turned around to sit in my normal seat next to Alya, but it was occupied by Nino. I didn't mind. I knew how much Alya liked Nino and I knew that if I ever asked, she would give up her seat for me any day. I looked around the room for an open seat, but the only one I saw was next to Adrien. I couldn't sit next to him! I would make a fool of myself! I gave Alya a pleading look. She motioned towards Adrien and winked. Reluctantly I sat down next to him.

"Hey, Mari!" He flashed me his model smile that made my heart flutter. Every time my heart flutters, my voice goes all shaky and I stutter. He's just too handsome with his perfect, blonde, flowy hair and his white, blinding grin. Oh no! I forgot to say something back. I'm just going to be calm and collected and ask him how his day is going. I can do this.

I looked at Adrien and started to speak. "H-h-hey Adrien. How are day you doing gorgeous?" The words flew out of my mouth before I could sort them out into a coherent sentence. "I-I-I mean, how are you doing on this day gorgeous? Gorgeous day! How are you doing on this gorgeous day?!" I mentally slapped myself. I was a stupid idiot around him. I slammed my head against the table and turned a bright red.

Adrien just chuckled and joked with me. "I'm doing great on this day gorgeous. I mean, gorgeous day!" He smiled at me again. He had better stop doing that or I might not ever be able to speak normally again!
