Wife [S1] Jimsoo Completed

prologue

The doctor came out of the room.

"How is she now, doctor?"

The doctor sighed deeply.
"I'm sorry to say this, but... she's in a coma."

'I couldn't hold back my tears anymore. This is all my fault... None of this would've happened if I hadn't done that...'

Without another word, the doctor quietly walked away, leaving us standing there in silence.

Jimin collapsed into tears, overwhelmed with guilt, blaming himself again and again.

Suddenly, he felt a hand rest gently on his shoulder. Startled, he turned around to see who it was.

"Jungkook..." Jimin whispered, his voice shaking. Without hesitation, he hugged his friend tightly, sobbing even harder.

"How's Noona? What did the doctor say?" Jungkook asked softly, trying to stay calm.

"S-she's... in... a coma..." Jimin barely managed to say, but it was enough for Jungkook to understand.

Shock washed over Jungkook's face. He hadn't expected Jisoo's condition to be this serious.
His best friend was lying unconscious because of his other best friend.
How was he supposed to handle this?

A few minutes later, a nurse approached Jimin and Jungkook.

"Who is Miss Jisoo's relative here?" she asked.

Jungkook quickly looked up. "Yes?"

"Please fill out this form as soon as possible. We need to transfer the patient to another room," she said, handing him the paper. "Once you're finished, submit it at the reception desk." Then she left.

Jungkook glanced at the form and was about to start filling it out when Jimin suddenly snatched it from his hands.

"I'll fill it out," Jimin said quietly.

Jungkook watched silently as Jimin began writing. Everything was fine until his pen paused at that question—the one that always made him stop, the one people always asked, the one he usually lied about.

"Relationship with the patient?"

Jungkook noticed his hesitation and spoke quietly,
"What are you going to write this time...? Are you going to lie again or..."

Before Jungkook could finish, Jimin cut him off without looking up.

"This time... the truth."

Jungkook blinked. "Truth? What do you mean?"

Jimin pressed the pen firmly against the paper and wrote the word without any more hesitation:

WIFE.

Jungkook's eyes widened in shock. "Wife? Seriously? Are you really going to accept her as your Wife?"
