I stood behind a stack of boxes with my brother at my side as a girl leaped over them and made her way to a ledge. I pinned my ears back. What was she up to? If anyone was to kill, it would be me. I flicked my tail at my brother, a sign for him to follow and hurried over to another stack of boxes, right under the ledge. I watched as the girl jumped down and put her bow over her shoulder as she walked away. I narrowed my eyes. She must be seeking for someone to kill.

I turned to my brother. He shrugged in reply. I grumbled to myself and turned away to watch the girl walk around a corner. I slowly and stealthily followed. I stopped to peer around the corner. The girl was still there, she had stopped  next to a broken-down elevator. My brother was at my side. He opened his mouth to speak, but I smacked my tail onto his mouth.

"Quiet," I whispered.

I guessed my tail tickled his nose; because right after I removed it, he sneezed. I tensed as the girl quickly turned around with her bow out. I shot my brother a glare, he shrugged apologetically. I rolled my eyes and turned to look at the girl, but she had gone.

"Dang it, you." I growled at my brother.

"I didn't mean to," he tried to reason. "It's- It's just habit."

"Look, Beta." I pointed a finger forward. "Now she's gone; and it's all because of that loud snout of yours!"

"I'm sorry!" Beta exclaimed. "I really didn't mean to!"

I sighed. "Okay, okay. Let's just get out of here before anyone suspects were spying." I turned around only to come face to face with another girl who had one visible eye and a red fox onesie.

"You sure it's not too late for that?" she asked with a snarl.

"What do you want?" I scolded. "You going to murder me? Make everyone worry so much until it's nothing but chaos? Us werewolves are far from wanting that again!"

"Murder you?" I asked. "I would, but I'm far from wanting that again, you know. You're the murderer, aren't you?"

"What makes you think that?" I questioned, twitching my tail.

"I may not have evidence, yet," she replied. "But you better keep away from Cat. Sure, she can take care of herself, but I'm not taking any chances. I swear, if you touch one hair on her head I will rip you limb from limb!" she stood on all fours with unsheathed claws and pinned ears and bounded away.

"Sheesh, why would she believe she can rip you limb from limb?" Beta asked. "You're the Alpha! She can't do that to you."

"She won't, and you know that." I replied. "Now, come on, we can't trust her. She may be the murderer."
