Hudson heard the quiet crunch of leaves beneath his feet as he traveled through the damp, humid forest. Billions of stars shone in the night sky as he trekked through the dark. A cricket chirped continuously, allowing no silence throughout his journey. The brunette continued through the land, avoiding trees and squinting to see through the thick fog that generously covered the dark wood.

He fell into a sprint, desperately trying to escape the fog, which was impossible to breath in. His foot caught on a rock and he fell onto his knees, skinning them raw. Blood splattered about and he screamed in agony.

He found it hard to get up, and his knees were wounded far worse than they should have been, considering he had only tripped. Though Hudson was no longer walking, the crunching of leaves was still present.
He was being followed.

The sounds became louder, and he fought to breath in the dense air that surrounded him. The crunch of leaves stopped and through the foggy, vantablack forest, red appeared. He realized it had to have been a lightsaber.

"Who are you, what do you want?" Hudson challenged the stranger, yelling into the darkness. There was no response and Hudson steadily reached for his lightsaber. He touched thin air and with horror, he found it was gone.
".eid lliw ehs ,ynomerec eht fo yad driht eht nO" a womans voice sounded from the dark. The owner of the voice was completely indistinguishable. It gradually approached Hudson, who sat, terrified of his fate.
It came closer and slowly raised the lightsaber over his head. He could hear the hum of the red saber, and felt the vibration of it, slowly burning his skin raw. With a shriek of complete terror from the young jedi, the saber was raised and quickly sliced his head open, violently mutilating it into halves.

Hudson shot up, a bag of Dantun Eyes fell off of his stomach as he looked around hurriedly. He gasped for breath and he couldn't help but feel as if his sides were being ripped apart from the inside.
"What's all the commotion?" A rather chubby young man spoke as the door to Hudson's room automatically opened allowing the man in. The young adult noticed the tear stained and horrified face of his friend.
"Did you have that nightmare again...?" He asked, stepping into the room.
"Yeah... Sorry for waking you Brenden." He quietly replied. "You can leave."
Brenden nodded and hastily turned on his heel, leaving Hudson alone to breath.
"It was just a dream..." He whispered to himself, hugging his knees. A jolt of pain shot through him like a lightning bolt and he let out an agonizing yelp.
Trying to find what caused his pain and looked down to face his tender, throbbing, and skinned knees. He gaped at them, a tear falling from his burning eyes.
He realized that the wounds from his knees had come from his dream.

It was real.
