"YOU REALLY HAD TO COME IN SECOND AT THE SPORTS FESTIVAL ALL BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T USE THE QUIRK I BLESSED YOU WITH? YOU'RE A DISAPPOINTMENT SHOTO!"
"HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO USE YOU'RE QUIRK WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT MOM!? YOU DROVE HER TO THE BRINK OF INSANITY AND MADE HER INJURE ME! IT WASENT HER FAUL-" I was cut off by a hard smack to my face. "UGH"
"THAT'LL TEACH YOU NOT TO MOUTH OFF TO ME!"
For some reason at that very moment, I had a flashback of mom as dad was yelling at me. She was talking to me while I watched the hero video... then she poured boiling water on my face... I know it wasent your fault mom I thought. Tears started to form in my eyes.
"ANSWER ME WHEN I TALK TO YOU SHOTO AND QUIT BEING A CRYBABY!"
I was knocked out of the flashback when he punched me in the stomach and then proceeded to choke me.
"DAD *cough* S-STOP!"
"IF YOU WANT ME TO STOP THEN MAKE ME!"
He threw me against the wall. I would usually be able to fight back but I have became so frail from him not feeding me that it has become hard to do the physical work in class. I started to drift in and out of consciousness and then I blacked out.
THE NEXT MORNING
I woke up laying in my bed with a note on top of me from my sister that said, 'I'm sorry I wasent there for you when dad beat you up' and instantly I felt bad. My dad yelled from downstairs, "GET OFF YOUR LAZY BUTT AND GET READY FOR SCHOOl!"
So I ran to the closet and got my uniform on but before I put my blazer on, I reached under my bed and pulled out a blade. I cut myself
1 time for letting myself get beat up...
A second time for waking up late...
And a third time because I made my sister worry about me.
It felt like such a relief to only feel the pain in my left arm... the side that my mom called a disgrace. To feel the blood dripping down my arms... so relieving!
I waited until the blood dried and then wiped it off.
I put my blazer on and walked downstairs.
"YOU DONT GET FOOD THIS MORNING BECAUSE OF LAST NIGHT NOW HURRY AND GET TO SCHOOL!"
I ran out the door with a razor in my pocket. Just in case.
