I bolt upright to find myself in my sweat soaked pajamas. It is 2:13 in the morning. The darkness hasn't disappeared yet.
My name is Kal, short for Kaley Williams. I am 17 years old and am in the third year of highschool. I have no family, except a grandmother.
Being me is not a very easy thing to be. I'm known as "Lonely Kal" in my school. Being bullied is putting it lightly. Glares burn holes into my skin as I walk down the halls to my next class. Bruises explode everywhere on my body as I use the stairs. And worst of all, taunts slice through the scars crated by them. Why?
The golden specks in my eyes have faded along with the bright green color that used to be there. The brown-haired girl with the bright smile has disappeared from exsistence, and I doubt she'll ever come back. She died along with her family on that very day. And on that day, someone else was born in her place. That someone else is me, the new Kaley Williams.
